Got close to getting a $600 RTX 3060 Ti in the shuffle today, but slept through my 2 hour window, and Friday's shuffle looks awful. I think I'm going to give up on looking for a GPU for a while, I've had horrible luck this year.

realnowhereman I can see that. When I visited Italy, it took me some time to get used to communication there. And that's not even counting the language, which I still haven't mastered. (Better than my Portuguese though!) Also: your English is far better than my Italian.
Took me most of my 40 years to get there with my English and, still, I'm not confident at all with my spoken english, expecially when it comes to comprehension. I notice it while I watch movies and series (I watch them with their original voices + subtitles whenever possible), I catch the general sense of dialogues but I miss words here and there and I still have to resort to subtitles. And that's if there's no accent involved. (Especially) central and southern accents are a nightmare for me. realnowhereman However, I myself didn't find drewski989's post to mean, just blunt. GFX queues are bad for everyone worldwide, even worse for EU it appears. In fact, it would've been worse if he wasn't straightforward as it would give false hope.
As I said, that's probably related to some " lost in translation" plus me being over empathetic with EU queuers. I'd like to virtually give a hug to each and every gamer or worker on EU queue and tell them we will eventually get there. Even so, I got lucky, couple weeks ago I managed to get an 3070 Ti (my GPU of choice for my rig) FE at MSRP from an Nvidia drop so I'm basically ok. I want an XC3 'cause of better cooling, when coupled with my Mini-ITX (link in signature). And then this FE will go to some lucky one at MSRP. Maybe. Or maybe I'll keep it, if I won't need the money. This is my first FE after all, kinda a collectible… realnowhereman Point being is that this chip shortage sucks. Not being able to get any graphics card at MSRP sucks. Scalpers suck. Having to sort through a virtual queue or a physical line-up-outside-of-your-local-electronics-store queue just to get a card sucks. But you know what? We'll get through it. One day when we're all running our 6000 UTX+ series cards, we'll look back on these days and laugh. I wish all of you good luck and good will.
I feel you. That's my attitude too. Scalpers can fudge (yeah, let's say " fudge") off, they won't ever see my money and I can only hope they can spend all their undeserved earnings - and then something - on medicines. We do will eventually get through all this, and laugh at our first world problems, as we should really do. But, for the time being, we will endure, we will suffer and, one day, we will get to the Gaming Valhalla we have been promised now well over a year ago!

drewski989 I am not trying to be mean, simply would like people to understand what they are complaining about, before going on rants. I don't mind a good rant, I rant 5 times a day before noon. But know what you are complaining about, otherwise it is just misinformed nonsense, if I wanted that, I'd watch any number of news channels (on both sides of the US political fence). There are plenty of valid things to rant about without complaining about things that are non-issues. Take your time to understand why you are upset, then articulate it. No one is getting skipped, the line is just super long. It's not rigged, it not a scam, it's simply a bunch of long lines that move at staggeringly different rates. After October 2020, the word was out to queue for all skus, because some skus don't get movement. There have been PLENTY of new sku launches since then. All the new queuers coming in hot with the rants, think about the people who did notifies BEFORE EVGA even announced the queue, they are the true ones with room to rant. As for my slighting the EU... check my post history, I have said at least a couple times, either EVGA should feed the EU queue or not have it at all. EU is definitely getting the short end of the stick here, but EVGA is a US-based company. Where is the EU-based company or any AIB for that matter, who is giving EU any more love than EVGA? Perhaps that should be the focus, getting upset with the companies who are completely ignoring EU, versus the one that is at least attempting to help. The one company that is actually not ignoring the EU, and it gets a bunch of complaints because it ain't helping enough... I could make some additional parallels here, but I better stop.
I get your point. I really do. And I totally support EVGA for what they are doing. I never really complained about the queue over here (joked about it? Totally, I feel that's an healthy way to deal with this whole situation), it's still way more than we got from any other manufacturer, and I'll back all this with my money from now on. Definitely. And I hope EVGA will invest more in the small form-factor niche 'cause that's where I'm right now and I do want to buy (much) more from them from now on. And yet, me being me, I'd probably have worded the message (which is undoubtely correct) in a friendlier, empathetic way. That's all.

viperside I see that the 3897 KR webpage is gone for the old ftw3 ultra non lhr. I am still in the queue for the 3895 KR which is the ftw3 gaming non lhr. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but I don't think you have many chances to see those non-LHR queues move at all. The LHR/non-LHR (KL/KR) variants don't really depend on EVGA, Nvidia stopped producing non-LHR GPUs (other than 3090s, 3080 Tis, even though are codenamed "-KR", are all LHR), until (and if) Nvidia won't resume producing them, there's nothing EVGA can do about it. :\

Is this queue even moving at all? I've been on it for a year at this point and I never received any notify about a chance to purchase. Closest thing was an update in June where they told me they swapped my preoprders for the "crypto-unfriendly" models (which I have no problems with, given that I don't give a damn about cryptomining) and then complete radio silence since then.

Appreciate your post, not everyone finds my rants and raves endearing (ask my poor wife lol)... I want to have empathy, I truly do, for those who have legitimately tried for months, even a year, to get a card. What does trigger me is the complaints by those who queued months after SKU release, yet still do not understand why they haven't gotten a card yet. That shows multiple levels of lacking effort/interest. Not knowing when the card that they "just want so bad" dropped, yet queue 2 months after its release? Got time to complain day after day, yet do not understand the basic fundamentals of the queue to the point that they are upset that people who queued a YEAR before them are getting cards, when they've had to wait a whole 6 weeks. They should take 30 mins and read/understand the queue system, it's not rocket surgery. People always have the same excuses, that they do not have all day to sit on EVGA forums... It's a dang line people, take a number and wait... If you take a number at the DMV and it's 97, and they are now serving 15, do you think you have to watch the dang "Now Serving" board intently until your number is called. No, go do something else for a bit and check in later. Same people who show up at noon without an appointment somewhere then proceed to openly complain how long of a wait there is to anyone around in the lobby. To paraphrase Yoda " Queue or Queue Not... There is no try". Either learn how it works and deal with it, or don't learn how it works and stop crying. BTW nomoss, I expect my Yoda/enewt photoshop with this saying on my desk by Monday morning lol. And to clarify, nothing I wrote was ever directed at you personally, it was inspired by someone complaining about people in September getting cards before him, and I do not think he realized it was September 2020.

Gotta admit, even I, and I consider myself a videogamer enthusiast, totally missed the EVGA queue system since well into july 2021, as per my queue entries. Simply because EVGA is not a big player here in Europe as it is over there in the US. I stumbled into EVGA because they are one of the very few manufacturers that had 2(ish)-slot GPU in this generation. Once I dug into EVGA, I found out about the opportunity to queue in line. And I gotta say, I got pretty excited about it! An opportunity to get a GPU without having to pay scalper prices. Seemed a dream come true. Of course, it being a queue, you will have to wait a bit but how long could it be? Then I started reading the forum, I become aware of the Elite status and the possibility to achieve it through forum posts (and I took advance of some thread ^^; ). But, most of all, I discovered the true horror behind the queues. And the further horror behind the EU queue. Yeah, I never complained about it because it is what it is but, believe me, I felt exactly the same way. drewski989 To paraphrase Yoda "Queue or Queue Not... There is no try". For the sake of conversation, when I talked about empathy, I was referring to that. The guy probably didn't read the year because it maybe could have never crossed their mind that people are still in line since over a year now. For us into the " game" (sad pun intended), we know how things really are but for others outside this madness it's easy to imagine that having to wait more than a year for a graphic card is simply inconceivable.

I never post in these forums, but just wanted to let everyone know the queue does work. I just bought a 08G-P5-3663-KL 3060 ti. I kinda wish I picked a bigger card now that I have more money for one, but I will take what I can get. So just have faith. TBH I cant remember when I put in my picks, but it has been awhile. edit: and dang I was so excited I didnt put my associate number in when I paid. So I guess no shirt

badfishtoo I never post in these forums, but just wanted to let everyone know the queue does work. I just bought a 08G-P5-3663-KL 3060 ti. I kinda wish I picked a bigger card now that I have more money for one, but I will take what I can get. So just have faith. TBH I cant remember when I put in my picks, but it has been awhile. edit: and dang I was so excited I didnt put my associate number in when I paid. So I guess no shirt

LeChuck81 the opportunity to queue in line.
After residing in Italy for ten years, I am convinced Italians do not know what an orderly queue is. I liken an Italian queue to a scrum for position. Seriously, best of luck to you.
