I've narrowed it down to 3 cards. One 3080 XC3 Ultra and the 2 3070 ti's Ultra cards. I think I'll have better odds with the 3070 ti's,  but would love to get a 3080. What would you all suggest?

How soon after you guys purchased did EVGA ship out your order?

Same day if you order before 2-3pm PST I believe. Anyone else correct me if I'm wrong.

They ship it that day if you order by a certain Pacific Time.  Otherwise it's the next day.

Both cards I got were shipped out the same day and came the day after. But then I'm in Southern California as well so I can get stuff quicker simply because I'm in the same general area as EVGA.

They ship it that day if you order by a certain Pacific Time.  Otherwise it's the next day.

I ordered my 3080 Ti at 9:01am PST and it shipped the following day. I don't know that there's a cutoff time but I feel like they've always shipped within 1 business day.

Certainly on some heavy days or when covid was surging in Los Angeles, the shipping cutoff became even more of a guideline than it is supposed to be. I, for one, will no begrudge the shipping department guys a day to get it sorted and headed out to me...not after the length I've waited.  I just want them to be accurate and dexterous; swift is an afterthought (within reason).

I might swap in the 3987 for the 3783, if a 3090 appeals to you.  If not, then...easy decision.

That's actually a perfect suggestion, even though you had no way of realizing it!  If the 3090 comes my way, I put it in my folding at home machine, then move the 12G-P5-3953-KR I currently have in my folding at home machine, which needs only 2 8-pin power connectors, into my Razer eGPU for my work laptop, which only has 2 8-pin power connectors.  Then, I move the 3070 Ti from the eGPU to use as a second folding at home card.  OR, I just get the 08G-P5-3785-KL and have my second folding at home card.  The 3080 Ti FTW3 is a 3 8-pin power connector card like the 3090 so it can't be used in a Razer eGPU and wouldn't significantly improve my all-purpose server that runs folding at home (which has the 3953 3080 Ti variant already).

Agreed and honestly, IMO, a week or two would be a reasonable shipping timeframe considering how incredible EVGA is for doing this sort of a queue system to begin with. The alternative methods of getting a gpu are rather depressing at best.

Did you complete your order after 2 pm PT yesterday? You should have the ship notification by 9 pm PT tonight.
