Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/10/06 17:42:46 (permalink)
Yeah, I don't even get that far. There is no "My Notifies" under My EVGA, nor from my profile page. Trying to navigate to the myNotifies.asp page just throws me back to the login page (which succeeds, but just takes me back to the EVGA home page (asia.evga.com, and occasionally  latam.evga.com, for some weird reason).

No clue what is going on. I've been in this queue for ten months now. To say I'm gonna be upset if EVGA threw out my notifications whilst implementing this "thing" would be a gross understatement.

whozcraigYeah, I already tried that many times (and a whole lot of other things).
Have you tried different browser?

Yup, even different host machines. Same thing no matter where I come in. I've tried with/without VPNs, MacOS Safari, MacOS Chrome MacOS Firefox, Windows Edge and Windows Chrome, and the same problem as-described is repeated ad-infinitum. None of it works. There is no "My Notifies" option in any menu or my profile, and attempting to drive to that page directly just takes me right back to the logon sequence.

Once you're logged into evga.com go to my evga in the drop down menu then my notifies is at the bottom of the list.

Everyone,

As we continue to monitor the queue to get cards to gamers sooner, we appreciate all the feedback to help us to improve the queue system.

Due to the overwhelming demand for the 30 Series Products, our first step was to close the notify queue until we can fulfill them. Management team then took an extra step to prioritize those that have not received a card versus others who have been able to get multiple GPU’s.

After reading the feedback, there were legitimate concerns about retroactively changing the queue function. We are sorry for any frustration this caused, this was not the company’s intention. Today we are going to make the following updates:

1.    The queue system will be rolled back to the previous rule.
  • Anyone who missed a card from Monday, October 4th, will be notified on the next release.
  • EVGA will continue to send notifies through October 8th.
2.    In order to get cards to gamers sooner, please go to the notify page at https://www.evga.com/community/myNotifies.asp and keep only the top two cards selected that you would like to purchase, and remove the others.
  • On October 11th, 2021, the system will only lookup and send notifies based on your two oldest entries.
  • Going forward, the queue system will only allow for two 30 Series notifies on the current lineup.
  • EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|NHYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.
  • EVGA is also going to be adding SMS verification to the checkout process for all notifications to catch bot orders.
3.    The queue system will not be turned back on until the current queues are fulfilled.
4.    The checkout window is 20 hours from the time of notification released.

EVGA appreciates your feedback to continue improving the queue system to deliver 30 Series cards into as many gamers hands as possible.

Thanks
EVGA

Is that i will recive notify in oct 11?

No. You will receive a notification once your time stamp is up in the queue.

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/10/06 18:27:47 (permalink)
Reminder: Please reduce your number of active 30 series Queue registrations down to no more than two by 23:59:59 on October 10 or EVGA will lock you in for your two "oldest" outstanding registrations (for SKUs that may not ever drop to the queues again). EVGA has also offered further EVGA guidance on which queues to consider retaining.

For those that are having trouble reducing their active 30 series registrations down to "no more than two" by the end of October 10 due to EVGA.com website issues, I hear that logging out, clearing your cache (including cookies) and then logging back in (along with an unhealthy dose of control-F5 not seen since the F5 battles of 2020) may -- and I stress the word "may" -- resolve the issue for you. If it doesn't, webmaster@evga.com is likely your new best friend.

The camels came through today and galloped around for a bit. In my opinion, they were still a bit tardy, sleepy and haphazard -- having tied one on last night -- but what do I know? I'm the ridiculous amphibian still holding out hope that there are enough K|NGP|N Hydro Coppers on Vince's shelf to allow the Queue to eventually make it to my registration timestamp. Why? Because -- and long time readers, say it with me -- "hope springs eternal."

With the less than subtle recommendations of EVGA about choosing air-cooled Ultras over Hydro Copper and Hybrids for our precious "two registration slots", I am silently mourning our community's fleeting use of "waterlogged", "moist", "damp", and other adjectives to refer to the water-cooled gaming goodness that -- at one point -- occasionally flowed through to the Queues.

We go again tomorrow.

Have a good night!

Once you're logged into evga.com go to my evga in the drop down menu then my notifies is at the bottom of the list.

No, it isn't at the bottom of the list. Did you read my original post and answers thereafter? I know where it is supposed to be. It isn't. Would attach a screenshot, but the javascript console reports 500 Internal Server Error whilst attempting to do so (30 year software architect; not my first rodeo).

Worth noting, however, the "My EVGA" top level menu option I'm used to seeing after successful login doesn't say "My EVGA" ; it says "Member". I don't know if that's because I'm being redirected to Asia (or wherever), but it is what it is.

Wow there big guy, I wasn't trying to ruffle the feathers. Of course I read what was written. I was just simply stating the obvious. It just seems strange that only certain people are having this issue. I've been able to log in with my phone every time I try. Just sayin'

I hope the traffic slows down and everyone gets their notifies taken care of. There's still 4 days till the deadline!

Even after reading Jacob's post, I'm only queued for 24G-P5-3979-KR from 7/2/2021 6:22:29 AM PT. I have a perfectly good 2080ti XC hybrid that I put a full water block on myself, I was just hoping to get lucky to get a 3090 with a block from the factory. Saves me the hassle of blocking it (or whatever I can get my hands on) myself. The queue for the 3979 hasn't moved since I entered, so I'm not holding out a whole lot of hope, to be perfectly honest.

Yes, sorry - it's a typo.  It's supposed to be a 9 (September) instead of 8.  I have a handful from October 2020 also which never materialized.

I didn't bother contacting them since the email specifically says:

Please use the unique URL to complete your purchase. Due to this being a limited supply product you have 8 hours to complete your purchase from the time of receiving this email, if not complete within 8 hours of receiving this email, the product will become unavailable and you will need to enter the notify queue again.

Like I said, I eventually did get a card two months after but with this latest upcoming change of 'only 2 cards' anyone that misses an email after months of waiting is going to be really pissed even if it's now 20 hours grace period.

Hulky87so you want 10 cards for example,
Why do you need 10 cards? Mining farm?

Hulky87you got to use 5 accounts, good luck with that EVGA
Good luck you - all queues are closed(at least for now
.

I got three cards from EVGA, one to me and I gave my brother one, my friend one, all in MSRP prices, I thought it's obvious - but you got to drag it to mining I see... - plus these are all LHR cards, mining is dying slowly, based on what you concluded your theory on the mining part? ROFL!! and them queues won't be closed forever, someone will figure a way to nuke the system and find a turn around. It's been like so and will always be... sorry not sorry :D

Edited to answer questions (my iPhone has a mind of its own sometimes, 🤣)

To answer your first question, clear your browser’s cache, close it, and then sign back in. If that doesn’t work, try a different browser.

As to your second question, you should be able to look up your prior notifications you already signed up for under ‘My EVGA, My Notifications’. However, you cannot sign up for any NEW notifications. That option has been turned off.

I hope this helps. Good luck!

haha moss. This is one of my favs. I wonder what the t-shirt would look like had your photoshopping skills been included.

My personal nomoss favorite was "The Shining"...  given the amount of people and the date, that would have been perfect for an "EVGA QUEUE - 2020" t-shirt...

Thank you drewski.  It is one of my favorites, too.

enewt,

It took 10 months for the original 2 cards I placed in the queue but the queue seems to be working. My wife will be a happy gamer now.

Thanks for the work you have put into this so that all of us waiting can see some progress at times. Much appreciated.

I used your associate code to receive the 3% discount.

Yes, sorry - it's a typo.  It's supposed to be a 9 (September) instead of 8.  I have a handful from October 2020 also which never materialized.

Forgive me but this is my first pc build and the 3080 ftw3 ultra or 3070 ftw3 ultra will be the first ever product bought from evga, but when exactly will the queue line open up? Do we have a certain date or dates?

I wish I would have came across this sooner, before updating my notifies. I would have been closer to a 3090 FTW3 (though cant really afford it right now) before my 3080 FTW3. Here is my current notifies.

Thanks for all the work that is put into this thread. Anyone have a estimate on what the wait time will be on the 3897 SKU

What if my oldest entries are 10G-P5-3895-KR and 08G-P5-3751-KR? Is it real to get them, or it's better to replace them by *-KL?

[snippety-snap]

As of 6:25 pm PT Wednesday, October 6, this is the status of the North American queues (bolded font represents queue movement from the morning of October 6; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from that prior report):

Card                                   SKU                    Most Recent Registration Timestamp to Receive an Invite to Purchase email

[snip]

3070 Ti XC3 Ultra               3785                    06/15/2021 09:36:49       (00:07:19)

[snip again]

Cannot believe it, my most sought after SKU is finally MOVING
The changes are already in action, the Ultras are moving.

There truly is light at the end of the tunnel!

3785 is a "Gaming" tier VGA and 3751 is a "Black" tier one.

As per what Jacob suggested

EVGA_JacobF

  • EVGA strongly suggests to keep the FTW3 ULTRA or XC3 ULTRA models due to consistent supply compared to limited supply on K|NGP|NHYDRO COPPER and HYBRID due to supply constraints.

your best chances are with "Ultra" variants, either FTW3 or XC3.
If you queued for Ultra variants of your preferred VGAs, I'd stick to them.
If you didn't, you can't queue at the moment (and for the forseeable future) to any VGA so, select the two you are most interested in. But I wouldn't expect any activity on "Gaming" or "Black" SKUs…
Remember that non-LHR variants, the *-KR SKUs (but not 3080 Tis which, even being -KR Skus, are all LHR), are basically dead SKUs (except 3090s, those are all non-LHR). So, you'd ideally want to look for *-KL variants, or LHR VGAs anyway.

Other than that, given Enewt's last report, other than 3060, (Ultra variants of) all GPUs moved a bit, I'd guess EVGA is focusing on FTW3 Ultras and XC3 Ultras (based also on the queues data they have access to).

Re: New EVGA.com Notification Checkout Process 2021/10/07 05:24:50 (permalink)
This new change has really put the responsibility back on us...  "Queue for Two" is not a decision to be taken lightly.  I really like it for the higher end SKUs, it de-incentivizes queueing for cards one cannot afford nor has the intention of buying.  I saw a Reddit post last night "Won the Shuffle for a 3090, who wants it?"...  What the %^&*???  That's just silly...
