From what i hear it is not just the associates program. The rewards program is bugging as well. Not sure what is up. Edit: 200 posts! Does this mean I'm legit? It only took me 6 months lol

Seems RTX 3rd gen cards are arriving more now at the retailers but at a above retail price still here in the UK. What i thought was is there any incentive for these retailers come scalpers to lower their prices to MRP as none of the Manufactures seem to mind what price they sell at. So these scalped prices can go on for a long time yet. I have waited 5 months now for a card from EVGA but to no avail as yet. I know others have waited longer. Rant over.

Originally I had seen this waiting list as positive, by now I think it's just a farce. Such small quantities are distributed that people wait in line for months, even if they have already queued up in the first hour after release. Only to end up paying almost the same prices as elsewhere anyway, because the cheap variants barely move. If EVGA was serious about their customers, they would actively adjust the allocated quantities here so that the average waiting time is no more than 3 months. But of course, that would mean they wouldn't make the even higher profits on miners. That's why they do a marketing campaign here with probably about 1000 cards (like AMD does in their own store) every week, it doesn't hurt the shareholders. Just in case anyone here thought "EVGA would be so caring and wouldn't have to do the promotion". No they aren't, And yes they do have to. This is just the usual marketing carrot on the stick, to improve their image for after the crisis. They will continue to sell to scalpers or to mining farms, as long as they just make 50 bucks more per card profit. Which means that this marketing campaign costs 50*1000 = $50,000 every week. Loss of profit, mind you, not loss! That's what you guys are worth to the company. But they are guaranteed not to accept $500,000 in lost profits by diverting volumes and selling 10x more units through the waiting list, which they would have to in order to noticeably reduce the wait time. I'm on the list with >10 cards and am even 1h away from the release date for 2-3 already very expensive cards but still have no illusions anymore, there is no movement visible at all. And whether I pay the expensive 800 EUR on the free market for a 3070ti or "only" 750 EUR for a 08G-P5-3785-KL including EU taxes and shipping from Taiwan, it almost doesn't matter. Not to mention the price of a 08G-P5-3797-KL. And these are graphics cards with LHR!! Even this crisis will pass someday and I will draw my personal conclusions for the future. One from this is just the confirmation that the manufacturers don't really care about customer satisfaction but prefer to pretend that it is a special concern for them. That is much cheaper. But it would have been naive to assume otherwise anyway. It's a pity that with a negative conception of the world, you're closer to reality than with an optimistic one. Is that an unfair criticism now? I mean, not at all. Wanting to maximize your own profit is completely normal for a businessman. What bothers me is just the dubious practice of having to pretend customer loyalty. Of course, that's a widespread thing and not specific to a particular manufacturer. So EVGA doesn't have to feel particularly addressed. Everyone tricks a little, but it still hurts when you realize that you've been under your illusions again. Call me naive, I can take it....

Sorry to break it to you nick_shl, but you are our canary in the coal mine on this one. As long as you aren't banned for Associate Program soliciting/abuse, the rest of us here are 100% safe. I truly hope you are being cheeky here, but cannot be sure... Either way, I am sure it is just a glitch and they will resolve soon enough. I have a ticket out with EVGA support on this topic, as my last 2-3 days of bucks did not mature on time.
