NOt many I just was chosen amongst the thousands to be able to buy a 3070ti for msrp and sealed that deal.
so glad to what is coming from my games at 2560 resolution on my LG 27" ulra gear gaming viewer.. ! I wish it was EVGA but its not, cuz i like the community and rewards at evga

I have a huge library some not played yet like Subnautica. Escape from tarvok is my hit list #1 once its released an playback on doom an others, Will be in 144fps with high settings=amazing 3070ti! im not a 4k believer.

Anyone think its worth the extra cost to upgrade from a 3080 xc3 ultra to a FTW 3080 TI ? I have the chance to sell my XC3 to a co worker for (MSRP) and Buy a FTW TI. Is the performance upgrade worth the cost?

Short answer, yes. Long answer: Are you going to game at 2K and want the absolute best frame rates? Are you going to game at 4K? If they answer to either of these is yes, then yes. If you're gaming at 1080p, no. If you're gaming at 2K and getting 120 fps in the games you play, then no.

If you're gaming at 1080p, no. If you're gaming at 2K and getting 120 fps in the games you play, then no.
^This right here. If you ARE still gaming at 1080p and are able to, I strongly suggest you don't waste these high tier cards on a 1080p screen. Go for 1440p at least, that's the sweet spot right now. 4k is doable and enjoyable, but much more expensive (talking from personal experience).

Agreed. I'd call 1080p gaming with a 3080 a waste of a GPU. Granted, that all goes out the Window with an unoptimized mess like Cyberpunk, but I have a feeling that will be an exception... not the rule. People are acting like that's going to be the performance with new AAA titles going forward, and I skeptical of that to say the least.

keep ur 3080... those cards are the best bang for buck if ur in the 800 to 1000 range. dont bother spending more than that. U will see little improvement. the 3080 is the best card to get in the stack reason its so hard to come by.

Truth is I'm in the EU queue and, over here, nothing seems to move at all… ^^; Being interested in 3070/Tis doesn't help either.

Probably has more to do with a ton more people queue up for 3080 vs 3070 therefore it's going to move slower as more people are in line each second.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say If EVGA had the supply to fulfill all orders at launch and for the months after (and all other OEMs and even FE's were also not in and supply dip) I reckon that the EU market is bigger. (this webpage chart shows Europe at almost double north America - https://www.statista.com/statistics/293304/number-video-gamers/ ) EVGA has spent a lot of time in the past building a customer base outside of the USA, and for reasons that EVGA has yet to disclose (if they ever do) their presence in the EU has dropped some what. Cards are still making their way to retail outlets so the distribution channels are still going (I saw a 3080ti XC3 Hybrid in stock at a UK retailer today and I still say shame on the people that bought them at their pre scalped prices) EVGA cards (in the UK at least) do not stay in stock for very long, this means there is a strong brand loyalty and recognition as other brands (big one too) sit longer. Yes EVGA are an American based company, but they have built world wide recognition.
