Pro tip for next time: If you update your siggy again, you don't have to repost to check and update further. It will retroactively update all of your posts. You can just pop back over and see how it looks on an old comment. ;) It handles it the same was it does post counts, etc. Even if you go back to your first ever post, it will display the current amount of posts you have. So don't be afraid to keep working on that siggy until it looks exactly the way you want it :) Also, congrats once more to those who were able to secure cards today! It's always nice to see progress (however small).

I thought about getting in the queue for the 3070 TI until a realized it was not a big enough jump going from a 1080 TI to a 3070 TI.

Its pretty sick that some of these Queues go back into 2020. Big stores keep getting cards but sell them in bundles that most people don't need. I'm still running GTX980s in sli for 1440 and is still ok so can wait it out a little while longer.

Speaking of timelines, I enjoyed the expanse so much I decided to go read the books. Usually I hate mixing books and tv/movies, but this has been a pleasure. Similar enough and different enough that I've enjoyed it tremendously. On book 7 now, and it's at least top 3 of the series so far for me. I know this might seem off topic. Probably is off topic. But when you've been waiting in queues for almost 9 months (or more, sorry September friends), you have to find something else to pass time. I recommend the show and the books. Probably in that order.

Just received a notification for 3080 FTW3 Ultra (thanks, EVGA), but currently I need either RTX 3060 Ti or RTX 3070. So is there a way I can swap this offer from 3080 to 3060 Ti or 3070? I was at some hotel the other night and my kindle battery was about kaput and I didn't have an old school usb charger with me. So I just googled around some. Apparently the whole thing started from one of the two authors having created a table top RPG with a lot of research done on colonizing the solar system. The other happened to play with him one night in New Mexico, and said you know what, let me take your ideas and research and write a story with this as the background. I'll split the money with you. The other guy read the first chapter or two the first guy wrote, then said oh snap I want to write this with you. Amazing.

Yea, what Nomoss said. The 3090s aren't changing. It's confusing. Like, the 3080tis which are kind of 3090s are KLs, but the true 3090s aren't. I don't know. Call nVidia. @enewt - Yea, one of the two authors wrote for that show if I recall correctly. I don't remember which. I feel like in the first book I could tell that different people wrote different parts, but that faded by book two. Never noticed it again.

Just to be clear, you registered for the queue through evga.com or eu.evga.com? They are two separate queues. If you registered through eu.evga.com, I am afraid that I cannot provide any meaningful guidance. If through evga.com, you will want the address to reflect a North American address.

kinda funny they are prioritizing the higher margin cards.... i saw some videos on youtube that make a lot of sense. The more we keep buying High priced cards.... the higher prices they will throw at us in the future.... since they know we r willing to pay it. part of the reason i passed on the 3090 and stuck with my 3080 is because its quite close. Yes i over paid and got a ftw3.... but still even at 900.... and how few cards you can buy for 700.... at least its not 1500 or more. i just think this whole thing is just some scheme to make more money... who knows.... what if there never was a shortage? ok ill take off the tinfoil hat.

It's not a scheme. It makes economical sense as a business. They are limited on the amount of chips allotted from Nvidia so they have to counteract that by putting them into higher margin SKUs.
