Good solidly built cards for the most part. Definitely have a lot more issues with my AMD cards crashing and what not though. The drivers and software are inferior to nvidia unfortunately. I had a 6800xt and a 6800. Sold them because my time is too valuable to me. 

The 6800XT is an awesome card if you can get it for a decent price. I had a Gigabyte variant that I sold to my buddy for $850 before the stuff hit the fan, and now that card is selling for $1600 retail. The pricing structure this generation is like the wild west, anything goes.

I am also looking at 6800xt  extra ram virtually gives it an edge given the performance is similar to 3080, if they start selling at the announced price.  But doubt AMD will increase gpu supply , they are more interested in taking the cpu market from Intel.

I just buy them directly from AMD on thursday drops. MSRP

I finally got that up and running last week and they dropped 2 hours early. I was clicking that button for 20 minutes every now and then until i saw someone say it had already happened.

Would rather get evga card anyway, the reference amd coolers are hot trash.

Thanks, yeah I haven't gone the bot route, but that is pretty much the only way to get a card on a website these days. 

Fyi it's not a bot, it's a tamper monkey script that just makes the add to cart button show up all the time, it's just not functional on the back end until stock goes live it's kind of necessary unless you want to play the isp page caching game where you have like a 5% chance of actually seeing the web site has updated.

Exactly what he said. I got it from the falcodrin stream. I liked it better before the script was needed. Had better luck then honestly. Now the website gets unusable during a launch. Lots of refreshing and chances of temp cookie bans or all out IP bans if you are not careful.
