In terms of what to do with the 3070, that is entirely up to you...does your significant other need a new gpu? A sibling? Is there a charity that works on STEM and kids that might be a worthy charity to donate it to (given the street value of cards, it would probably be a pretty healthy donation/tax deduction)...best of luck with your decision.

There aren't many 7:30s.  It should hop along to the 7:40s pretty soon.  Then it's probably going to start to crawl somewhere in the 40s through well.  A good hour or two probably.  Especially through 8.20-30 is my guess.

So much movement. Congrats all!
I have to admit I had no idea the amount of chaos the drop was. I guess I lucked out in a roundabout way. I was not planning on queuing for any of the 3080ti's but my neighbor (who has been waiting on me to nab him a 3090 for the build I planned for him. He has also been trying himself) Texted me and asked me what I was doing for the 3080ti launch. I told him nothing since I had to work. He then proceeds to tell me that he would be happy with a 3080ti build instead of a 3090 build. He uses his PC for rendering and other various tasks so I assumed he needed the vram on the 3090. Turns out he really doesn't. This all happened shortly before 8 AM PT so I immediately jumped onto the site and queued for some sku's. Didn't have much trouble - had to reload a few times for some and thought the xc3 notify was glitched. Definitely thought I was so far down the totem pole that I'd not see a card until the end of the year. To my surprise when I checked the forums, the initial times I was seeing were well past 6AM. As I dug more I began to realize I wasn't in as bad of shape as I thought. Sorry to all of you who had to suffer through it. 2 hours of refreshing and pain seems terrible. Just wanted to shed a more positive view from someone who lucked out and missed most of the refresh pain.

No, Jacob said they were incoming, but he didn't have an ETA yet. Not today though. I am hoping it goes 3 more minutes this week lol

I am 12 mins away .. my excitement is quickly fading and turning into disappointment :(

Let's hope for the best. Jacob is often cryptic on Twitter. Just earlier this morning he told someone that he "didn't know" whether their 7:30 time for 3967 would come up today; obviously the notifies blew right past that timestamp. hopefully we see some hybrids this week and you will for sure be in the next batch!

I'm pretty sure someone mentioned this earlier but just wanted to confirm that if you were able to buy the launch bundle (3967-K2), you are no longer able to buy the 3967-KR sku

Indeed.  Since they're both SKU 3967, it would be one or the other.  If you're in queue for the 3967-KR, it would be cancelled when you reach the front of the line assuming you purchased the K2 bundle.
 
You can still queue up for the other 3080 Ti SKUs and purchase one of each though.

Thought so. Too bad, though. My bro completely had a messed up time at launch cause he kept entering the wrong email address for the notifications and gave up.

I got in and the K2 launch bundle will be delivered Monday. Was hoping to get him a card but guess not. Besides, even if he did get in, I think he would have been screwed since we share the same delivery address (same household)

Anyone know how 2 ppl in the same household (same resident address) will be affected in notifications and checkout?
