I was at a buddy’s hot tub and we noticed ash falling into into the water and our hair so that explains it. We just thought it was a very big bbq or something.

Do they release more spots for that one ever?

It was only open for around 30 seconds or so. Hopefully EVGA will complete service to the existing tranche soon and open it back up for future registrants...but who knows....

Sad to say, never. As long as there's someone else who has access to the product and is willing to pay more than another person then the price will always rise to meet them.
If that article is to be believed, it would be cheaper to buy a 3090 from a European scalper than a US scalper. I've seen them going for $4400 and over, and 3199€ is about $3900. This is truly the worst timeline.
I am in the US but have many friends in Europe who are confirming that scalpers prices are a little lower in EU (especially Italy, Germany and Switzerland). But they are still insanely high scalper pricing!
I haven't really noticed any "scalper" pricings, prices being less than retail, but still insanely high if you consider MSRP... I *could* have any(model(60(ti), etc), not make) 30 series card tomorrow... If I was willing to pay 2-3x MSRP... No thanks... At least Zen3 is in stock for less than MSRP :)

Going back to February, the 3898 drops once a month and eats up about 40 seconds of queue time on average. By that metric, your estimate of a year is about right. Hopefully production will increase so you don't have to wait forever. I am 2 minutes away in that queue and expect to get an email in August or September. The most recent drop only ate up about 30 seconds of queue time which was disappointing. If that becomes a trend I'm looking at September.
