EnigmicAzn If they had an actual elite program, I could see that happening but not with what we have now.
Let's be real, it takes nothing to be an elite member. You either watch enough twitch streams, spam 100 posts on here somewhere, or register a product.
If there were elite status that req people to actually spend x amount of money every year or something, I could see something like that happening but not as it is now.
Also true. Y'all are on the ball with this. Has anyone ever suggested to EVGA a TRUE Elite program? Something that was actually linked to being a customer? Buy a Product register it, become a member much like they have now. Then an ELITE option that you pay a small percentage, say 2% (this is just an example number) of the MSRP of the card and it extends your warranty from 3 years to 4 years and you get advanced rma replacement, as well, gives you early access to new products in that time and NO RESTRICTIONS, so you are only competing for new products with fellow Elite members. Then to make things a little more worth it do Elite member only sales on B-stock, holiday sales, etc... I know someone like me would do it as I upgrade my gpu every 3-4 years.

Jurlay Just entered my local store here in Aruba and saw this. What the hell! They are 700 (for the 3060) and about 1600 (for the 3080) in USD equivalent lol. Definitely cheaper than ebay and the like, but still ouch, haha. Anyways, I said screw it and bought the 3060 albeit I was aiming for a 3060ti or 3070. Overpriced, but at least I no longer have to wait. Will be removing myself from the queue :) Good luck everyone!
Congratulations! Your watch is over!!! Thanks for being part of this community (you are always welcome to keep us company on the wall). Enjoy your new gaming goodness.

candrist85 I am so stoked some of these cards are moving into the hands of the long waiting people! Congrats y'all! Haha! I hope to join you soon on the 3987 camp... I too should soon get to this mythical place called fulfillment as my date is 11/1 at 01:55 am... another week or two like this one and I am sure to see something.
I’m praying for a week rather than two just so you can get the discount 🥰
Discount? Are they going to mark up the cards again in a week? I am asking as I am pretty ill informed.
Those who were already in the queue as of their announcement at the beginning of this year are able to get their cards for the release day price (e.g. $809 USD for the 3897) as long as they get it before April 16th. After that, the price goes up to the current price ($879). We haven't heard anything about a further increase in the price yet, but that is a possibility. TL;DR - People who queued up last year get to pay release day prices if they get their cards in the next week, otherwise they will pay what everyone else WOULD be paying right now. :)

Urobulus Almost 7 months of waiting now and still nothing to show for it. And will probably have to restart that mess from scratch if they announce the TI and kill the 3897 queue in favor of it.
I'm fairly certain that, if that happens, I won't buy any future EVGA products. While I very much appreciate the queue, it would feel like a slap in the face to wait this long, only to have to start all over again. At that point, I'd probably just give my friend back the deposit he put down on my 1080 Ti and just keep what I have.
I'm fully expecting it to happen, without people like me that have already been waiting in line for almost 7 months to get any kind of fair compensation (like queue priority) when it happens. The 3897 queue is dead as far as I'm concerned, and so far EVGA didn't prove me wrong in weeks.
What would be terrific is if they would let elite members get a day in advance on purchasing and/or queuing the coming Ti series (or equivalent). Would actually reward some brand loyalty. Also, if the sky isn't dead, may open up cards to those that have been waiting a little faster as hopefully people would drop their notify slots?
That will never happen, that I'm sure of. They don't care, It will just be ''shut up and queue from the beginning again''.
My friend, everyone has heard your message loud and clear in this thread. Thank you for your passion. I would however suggest you find an alternative avenue for your energy before you say something you might regret. Frustrations boil over, but just to be able to afford a 3897 if given a chance is a true blessing. Many people in the world cannot and do not even know what a computer is! Guess what I am trying to say is there is a bright side even in the darkest room. Cheers and I hope you get what you want sooner rather than later.
you too relax, we all suffering here but the 3897 is the most people who is dry and suffer the most here. anyway, lets hope for the best.

Dark Ride I suspect that Nvidia's production has shifted gears. The last three BB drops were pathetic and not much has been moving here either. I'm guessing that they are ramping up production of the much higher MSRP 70/80 Ti series chips that will ship with a mining limiter (how long it actually lasts is anyone's guess) and whatever doesn't make the cut for those is going into their new CMP cards with an even higher markup. And from a business perspective, why wouldn't they? They know that mining demand is fickle and will eventually disappear while gaming demand will always be there. Given AMD's seeming inability to compete with the 30 series cards, even if you hate the company, their product is so good that you don't really have a choice. I firmly believe that while there may be some supply related issues, the sole reason that months later you still can't buy these cards is mining. Miners (new, FOMO miners in particular) are the ones paying the scalpers prices. That's what's feeding this vicious cycle. I also suspect that demand will cool after July once ETH implements EIP-1559 and mining profitability is significantly cut. That combined with rapidly increasing difficulty and POS around the corner and ETH mining's days are numbered. Just a hunch. I could be wrong, it happens fairly frequently.
no this is all about large gpu farms grabbing the gear ahead of everyone. The hash rate has new all time highs almost daily. About 22000 3080 cpus a day or the equivalent in other gear are being added daily. Since jan 1 every day That is not about a garage miner buying cards off ebay at 1.5 to 2.5 x the price This is about orders of 5000 or 10000 or more gpus. going right to a farms near by the chip foundries.. Eth hashrate was over 5,000,000 3080's at the weeks beginning that is a lot of gear. more than 2.1 million more that Jan 1 which was 2.9 million 3080's or the equivalent

While it's still unclear how 1559 will affect Eth profitability in the sort term, it will make it undesirable over time as it slowly winds down payouts. Even if Eth immediately tanks, as long as BTC remains strong miners will switch to less, but still very profitable coins like Raven. There will likely be some miners that'll panic sell hardware, but I'm not sure that in itself will make a big dent in GPU demand. Hopefully the reduced overall profits and therefore ROI will though.

I'm sure MANY of those newly added 3080s are small-time folks mining at home, or gamers trying to recoup some of their costs when their prized 3080 is not in use for gaming. That said, you're absolutely right about the huge orders. There are some gigantic mining operations, and it's difficult for the small time PC building stores and individuals buying 3080s one at a time to compete with that. As if competing with bots wasn't challenging enough ... I see ire directed at people camping out at Microcenter to get another 3080 every month. These guys might eventually mass one or two dozen 3080s, but that is NOT the cause of the extreme demand. It's the farms with THOUSANDS of GPUs, and they are showing no signs of slowing down. I have gained some insight chatting with a local PC builder who is always having to fight tooth and nail to get a straggler 3080 or 3090 from the distributor he uses to purchase cards from. His distributor is more concerned with orders numbering in the hundreds or thousands of cards. As frustrating as that is for us, can you blame him? He can much more easily feed his family and pay his bills with the large orders, even at a slight discount compared to smaller buys. He also has to do less work per card sold. All of us can appreciate working more efficiently and getting more pay for less effort and time spent. This whole entire cycle is unprecedented and entirely unforgiving. Honestly, the queue here, Best Buy's anti-bot delays, Newegg's shuffle, Linus's gamer-only reselling, and paid bot services - while admittedly annoying and cumbersome - are actually examples going above and beyond what they have to do in order to at least help some customers. And they seriously don't have to do ANY of these things. It would be far easier for Newegg to not even bother with a shuffle and just sell large orders direct to miners. Moral of the story? Be grateful for what we have, because we are honestly owed nothing. When demand is this high, by nature of general business, the product goes to the party willing to pay for it. I would guess that Newegg's price increases are carefully calculated to keep them as profitable as possible to offset the increased (and not required) operating costs of running the shuffle program. EVGA isn't even charging extra for queue purchases (in fact is doing the opposite, with discounts). Best Buy is the last giant retail holdout literally refusing to raise prices above MSRPs, and they absolutely could! Despite not raising MSRPs they are still at least doing some small thing to give some real people a chance to buy. Thanks to Best Buy, I have a 5900X. Thanks to EVGA, I have a 12GB 3060 to get me by until I hopefully queue up for a 3080 (which I have been waiting since 9/17 for...). That's a 3060 and a phenomenal CPU that I would NEVER have been able to purchase without the retailers at least doing some small thing. I feel bad for people that haven't gotten that chance yet, but I have seen countless EVGA faithful bow out of this thread after getting their notifications for various cards. On Discord, [H]ardForums, reddit, and here, I see people successfully grabbing cards and CPUs from the shuffle, Best Buy drops, and the EVGA queue on a weekly basis. Nvidia is shipping 20% more volume (TWENTY PERCENT) of 3000 series than they ever did with the 2000 series. I want a 3080 or a 3090. I want to be mad and frustrated. I understand where all of you are coming from, because until I got the 3060, I had also been waiting months in the queue like everybody else. But all this SALT needs a little dose of something called "perspective" to temper it a little bit. There are folks here going through all kinds of hard times, and it is most definitely hard to wait this long for a GPU, especially if yours has died and you are up a creek right now with an unfinished/uncomplete PC build. I get it! But the anti-EVGA, anti-retailer salt here is a bit misplaced. I hereby close this speech with nothing but love and good wishes for all of you to get notifies as soon as possible. Let's keep building each other up. I don't want to see anymore EVGA-hate here. I was on that bandwagon at one time, but after a couple of weeks hanging out with some of the fine, helpful, and very patient people here I quickly jumped off that bandwagon (long before I got my first notify, too). Let's keep the faith!!

I understand that the conventional wisdom is that EVGA cards arrive via airfreight. However, for everything else that is coming in from Asia... yikes. I have a feeling the reopening of the economy is going to be a pretty bumpy ride. And just wait until one of these ship captains thinks he's invented a faster, previously undiscovered way of offloading his freight..."watch this move!" In queue news, the SKUs that received drops yesterday had some stragglers hit today as well....feels like it will be next week before we get a fresh drop...sadly, the 2020 grandfathered prices will blow away into the dustbin of history. We will still be here tomorrow, hoping against hope that good ol' JacobF has one last trick up his sleeves for we few gamers...his loyal EVGA line sitters. I really hope so, because it is getting to a point where we are going to have to start rationing marshmallows for the evening s'mores around our fire. Best of luck tomorrow! As of 2:55 pm PT Thursday, April 8, this is the status of the North American queues ( bolded font represents movement from the morning of April 8; italicized parentheticals calculate the length of movement from the prior report): Card SKU Auto-Notify Timestamp / (Change from Previous Summary) Ultra3090 FTW3 Ultra 3987 10/28/2020 09:18:37 (12:49:25) 3090 XC3 Ultra 3975 10/06/2020 06:21:58 3080 FTW3 Ultra 3897 09/21/2020 08:14:51 3080 XC3 Ultra 3885 09/18/2020 09:24:53 3070 FTW3 Ultra 3767 11/09/2020 11 :14:20 3070 XC3 Ultra 3755 11/17/2020 09:18:37 (18:35:08) 3060 Ti FTW3 Ultra 3667 12/01/2020 07:30:47 Gaming3090 FTW3 Gaming 3985 09/24/2020 16:12:06 3090 XC3 Gaming 3973 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Gaming 3895 09/16/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Gaming 3883 09/16/2020 11:01:20 3070 XC3 Gaming 3753 10/29/2020 06:20:00 3060 Ti FTW3 Gaming 3665 12/08/2020 18:51:41 3060 Ti XC3 Gaming 3663 12/01/2020 07:32:35 3060 XC3 Gaming 3657 02/25/2021 09:35:08 (00:00:33) Black3090 XC3 Black 3971 09/24/2020 00:00:00 3080 XC3 Black 3881 09/16/2020 15:14:00 3070 XC3 Black 3751 10/29/2020 06:19:23 3060 XC3 Black 3655 02/25/2021 09:07:52 Hybrid 3090 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3988 12/11/2020 05:59:52 3090 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3978 12/08/2020 17:48:51 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid 3898 12/16/ 2020 09:05:12 3080 XC3 Ultra Hybrid 3888 12/10/2020 09:08:56 Hydro Copper (XC3 Delayed)3090 FTW 3 Ultra HC 3989 11/13/2020 09:54:29 3090 XC3 Ultra HC 3979 11/13/2020 00:00:00 3080 FTW3 Ultra HC 3899 11/13/2020 09:13:29 3080 XC3 Ultra HC 3889 11/13/2020 00:00:00 K|NGP|N (Queue sheet) 3998 12/20/2020 18:55:23 May your remaining wait be shorter than you anticipate; it is already longer than you deserve. candrist85 I am so stoked some of these cards are moving into the hands of the long waiting people!
Ouch, well, I hope that I can get it in the next week then, just to save a couple hundred dollars or so...
Yeah for sure. We’re all in the same boat together. Lol. Although I would happily pay that right now for a card 🤣
That's the problem if we keep paying more then they will keep increasing it , then ppl start complaining about price increases. Its $70 now and it will rise to 100,140,200...etc. When nvidia announced the cards it was $500 & $700 now thats no longer the case its back to square one.

Spot on. Give a company an inch they will take a mile; give them a mile they will take a whole continent. Company don't just want to make money nowadays, they don't want to make a lot of money, they want to make ALL the money.

UrobulusCompany don't just want to make money nowadays, they don't want to make a lot of money, they want to make ALL the money. Does not always applicable for private companies (like EVGA). Public traded companies whole different story... more profit, more stock price rise - all what is matter.

Anyone know where the queue is at for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (10G-P5-3895-KR)?
I keep seeing too many different queue lists online so I don’t know for sure where they are at. I joined the queue 9/22 at 11:30am

I tend to trust Enewt's summary when it comes to knowing where the queue is. He searches multiple avenues thoroughly for his information. There are also people here who will swear by the spreadsheets, but I like Enewt's conservative approach to approximation. Speaking of Ed, he got hit with ANOTHER approval pending. EVGA, what are you guys doing?! >:(

Are you looking for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra (3897) or the 3080 FTW3 Gaming (3985)? Your question muddies the water a bit...? And the "approval pending" is my fault...I had to edit the post more than a minute after I posted it and that tends to trigger the AP label.

Try a different browser, clear your cache, and if neither of those efforts work then do the following: (1) reply to the email (it should have come from ordernotify@evga.com) and indicate your desire to purchase the card. (2) call EVGA customer service during their working hours (9 am to 6 pm Weekdays (excluding EVGA holidays)): 1.888.881.EVGA (3842) (3) they should be able to locate your reply, confirm that the queue has reached your registration and reissue you a new email with a new link to purchase your card. Best of luck!

Hi, I was wondering if anyone is having the same issue, or can help. I set up auto-notifications on 9/29/2020 for several different 3080s. I never received an e-mail so far, but I also do not see that auto notification in the "view my notifies" list. However, when I try to set notifications again, it give an "EVGA Product Alert" saying I already have setup the notification on date 9/23/2020. So I can't use my old notify, nor can I add new ones. What do I do?
