There have been updates and its moving, just slowly. Some people unfortunately picked the wrong queue to be in and there specific model isn't being made for the queue.

And that's exactly what I'm talking about.  There shouldn't be any "wrong queue" because EVGA can easily communicate to anyone in that queue, "hey guys, we won't be fulfilling orders for this queue for the foreseeable future, your best bet is a 3090 Kingpin since we can make the most profit on it."  Obviously that last part is a bit tongue in cheek, but they should simply close the queue and indicate that they have no intention of selling those items on their website any time soon, and they'll let you know if that changes.
 
If no 3080 Gaming will be sold through their queue for the next 6 months - say that.

I doubt it is as easy as you suggest for EVGA to know much in advance which SKUs they will be making when. They are dependent on their suppliers, who are also facing shortages on the materials they use to make the parts they supply to EVGA. Then, contractual obligations must be filled out of what EVGA produces. The queues get what is left over. I'll bet that it is very difficult for EVGA to predict what will be available to the queues and when.

just got the evga 3090 ftw3 ultra hooked up wasnt going to pull the trigger on it as i already
had a 3080.decided to buy anyway and let me tell you if you were thinking that the 3080 and 3090
were basically the same minus the 10 vrs 24gb think again this thing is a beast.everything is
just buttery smooth.if you have the choice and want the best all around its 3090 or bust.

I sold my 3080 FTW3 to a buddy and replaced with the 3090 K|NGP|N.  I usually have buyer's remorse when I spend that much on ANYTHING, especially given the ~$850 to $2000 price jump.  However, I love this card and have 0 regrets.  I always wanted a K|NGP|N, I am finally in a position financially to truly afford it, and the performance and extra touches like the LED screen are just great.  Every time I boot my machine and that "EVGA K|NGP|N" logo and led screen lights up, it puts a smile on my face.  Congrats on your card!

I really think you have to run both to know what im/we're talking about,and yeah i get that to.

As fast as Nvidia and EGVA can make faster GPUs, the game designers will design new games to test the GPUs' limits.

It has been a rather rough week; drops were light, a stuck ship was too heavy (and didn't move), and salt levels were unreasonably high.

My buddy asks me literally once a week about hybrid movement.  I have given him the same answer for over 2 months now on the 3080 XC3 Hybrid, "only 39 secs away dude, maybe this week".  Here's hoping this is the week I am not a POS liar :D...  It would be really cool to get him the card, his dad just had a heart attack (thankfully should be OK), but this would bring him a little positivity.  Good luck everyone!

I see BestBuy lists the FTW3 Gaming cards as 'coming soon'.  I suppose that means they will see those cards before we do.  Right now I'm on integrated graphics since my 1080 Ti died out of warranty.  At this point, I may just get a gaming laptop that's in stock and wait for all this to blow over.

Unfortunately, for the FTW3 Gaming, BB has had that listed as "coming soon" for literally forever. It doesn't mean much of anything for that specific card:/ On the other hand though, if you see a BUNCH of cards listed as "coming soon", they may be potentially having a drop in the next day or two. 

We need the 3897 momentum to resume already c'mon gogogogo!

It looks like there is a good chance I'll have the opportunity to get the 3060 (3657) this week and the less expensive 3060 (3655) the following week. I'd rather a 3060 TI or 3070. However, my turn is not likely to come on those for at least a couple of months; and I am not willing to wait that long.
 
Question: The 3657 costs $60 (about 18%) more than the 3655 for about 6% more performance (texture fill rate). Both come with a 3 year warranty. Does the 3657 have anything else to justifiy the price differential?
 
In normal times, I'd probably wait a week longer to save the $60. However, with the present supply uncertainties, I am leaning towards taking whichever comes first and not screwing around in an effort to save a few bucks.

Are you 20 minutes earlier in the 3655 queue than the 3657?
