No problem ... I have found it already. Well, I guess we cannot shorten the waiting time anyway. But we can make it as pleasant as possible. So I would like to thank you for your efforts in compiling the (US) list ... really appreciate it.

I threw a little shade at Amazon because their shipping isn't what it used to be. I get it, it's not all Amazon, it's just the state of things. Like the concern Larac was potentially noticing by EVGA getting his card shipped out. Amazon scoffed at me today and got my new Cintiq out for delivery a couple of days early. It's getting better, but there are days where the shipment will disappear or suddenly poof back a few days. Have a great weekend everyone, and may the drops fall in your favor next week.

Ground shipping in particular is subject to sudden delays but even “next day air” is often taking 2-3 days to arrive. The air travel industry used to provide 10-15% of all air shipments but with fewer flights, the air freight companies have to take more, and they are already operating at 100%.

The ship stuck in the Panama Canal has not helped shipping times... not anyone's fault really. I think it is commendable that EVGA is honoring MSRP on queue'd gpu's from before the tariffs. I fully expected to pay the tariff, but was surprised to see the fee waived in my cart. I was an ASUS fanboy previously, and I now am loyal to EVGA. Also, thank you for the associates code, it was a complete shock for me to get a card at all...much less UNDER MSRP! Thanks to everyone involved in this program.

I think you are referring to the Suez Canal... and inventory coming from China/Taiwan to the US are not going in that direction.

I've been working my way through The Three-Body Problem. It's kind of wild what the author has thought up. I don't love the writing, but I figure that may be due to being translated from Chinese and Chinese authors having a different narrative style. The Suez Canal had me thinking of the Panama Canal segment of that book. I don't want to spoil more than that, but what a wild and imaginative book. Check it out if you are flatlining on tv shows and need something to tide you over while waiting for your card to drop.

Yeah, I'm not holding out much hope for the EVGA queue anymore. After many of us being on the queue since September/October for a 3080 and not hearing a word so far, it's obvious that the cards are going to crypto miners, retailers, and scalpers. Let's just put it this way, I'll remain on the queue, but I'll have no loyalty either. If Asus, Gigabyte, or another 3rd party manufacturer can provide a card, I'm going to buy it.

That's pretty much what people should be like during this time. If you really want a card, you should actively go out and get one and have the queue as your plan B. shalca I really am shocked that there has been no update for people that have been in the queue since September.
There have been updates and its moving, just slowly. Some people unfortunately picked the wrong queue to be in and there specific model isn't being made for the queue.

enewt Congratulations, my friend! Enjoy your card! This is great news! It looks like my wait won't be too much longer for my 11/08 timestamp.
Thanks bro! Yes I am looking forward to installing it. Looks like it might arrive on March 31st. I received the UPS tracking number. I am going to order a GPU vertical support because the 3090 cards are so big and heavy that they can sag. Good luck with yours. Are you in the queue for the 3090 Ultra (3987)?

It looks like there is a good chance I'll have the opportunity to get the 3060 (3657) this week and the less expensive 3060 (3655) the following week. I'd rather a 3060 TI or 3070. However, my turn is not likely to come on those for at least a couple of months; and I am not willing to wait that long. Question: The 3657 costs $60 (about 18%) more than the 3655 for about 6% more performance (texture fill rate). Both come with a 3 year warranty. Does the 3657 have anything else to justifiy the price differential? In normal times, I'd probably wait a week longer to save the $60. However, with the present supply uncertainties, I am leaning towards taking whichever comes first and not screwing around in an effort to save a few bucks. Any thoughts?

It's factory OC'd and has a backplate but that's about it. If that's the case, see if your friends or family might want it if you don't. If nobody does, then just let it pass.

There is very little difference between the two in application. The backplate is nice, but provides mostly aesthetic function.

I'm an old retired guy. I'm not in the business of selling merchandise. I'd much rather leave the second 3060 for someone in the queue than scalp it.

Thanks for the offer, but no thanks. I've been waiting--not very patiently--since the 3060 was introduced on 2/25 when I spent 34 minutes desperately trying to get on the queue for the 2 models. Some people likely bought positions ahead of me from others who were signed up ahead of me and did not need the card. If so, I think that unfairly delayed me in getting a 3060. I am not going to participate in something I believe to be unfair. The people who kindly responded to my inquiry have confirmed my suspicion that the 3657 SKU is not worth $60 more than the 3655 SKU. Nonetheless, my present plan is to take whichever comes up first. While my estimate is that they will come up only about a week apart, there is no way of knowing for sure which SKUs will ship when. I signed up for a 3070 on 11/8 and two 3060 TI SKUs on 12/1--and am nowhere close on any of those. I've waited too long for a card to risk $60 on a bet that the less expensive 3060 will become available to me within a week of the first. From a purely selfish viewpoint, my best bet would have been to buy a 3070 from a scalper back in November. However, I regard scalpers as scum and was not willing to help one to profit from scalping.

I don't think anyone ever implied that the cards were the same; just that the improvement in performance from one model to the next doesn't match the significant increase in price. Most benchmarks have the 3090 performing 15% better than the 3080 at best. Glad you're enjoying your cards, tho.
