I am hoping to get my card soon, especially before the April deadline price hike.....Trying not to pay double for a video card again as I did with my 1080 Ti nearly due to the miner craze. I was able to get an EVGA RTX 3070 for my Son's first custom computer build through this queue, and now hoping my time is soon. Just want one of them and trying to understand this list lol.

Ouch, good luck, my friend. I don't know if I could say you're realistically going to get any of them by then :/ The closest ones are 3883 and 3881 which haven't gotten drops in a LONG time.. The 3897 is easily after the deadline unless a miracle happens.

I could be mistaken, but I don't think there's as much to worry about with regards to the April 16th price increase, as there is with potentially not ever getting a 3080, at least not new. How long after the release of the 3080ti will they still be making regular 3080's? That's what I am most worried about, not the price increase, but the eventual cut-off where they will not be made anymore, and a choice between a 3080ti or 3070ti/super has to be made.

Yeah, this week seems to have been quite a bit worse than last week, overall. Either less drops, or less reports. And yeah, you're right about ammo. Pretty dry right now for that, too, which I find odd. Most of the ammo is made in the USA. Why haven't we ramped up production in advance? I mean, this happens every for years for how long now?? I would think ammo companies could anticipate, ramp up, and end up making BOATLOADS of money selling out a lot higher amount of ammo than the pittance they are restocking stores with now. Most ammo sales are in person, so we can't blame bots and scalpers for the ammo shortage, so why have we not learned from past years and adequately prepare for this election year?

Unfortunately, your time stamp for the 3897 is in the middle of a second bottleneck. I wouldn't expect to see that card for another 2-3 months unless production ramps up. September time stamps have a good chance of getting in before the April price increase. Maybe not the very end of September, but who knows. Before the original google sheet was vandalized, there did not appear to be very many time stamps issued between 9/20 and the beginning of the next big bottleneck in early October. I think we will see 24+ hour periods falling away pretty soon here, but that will probably revert back to 24 seconds again when the queue gets to the next bottleneck. Some here think that it's even worse than 9/17-18. The 3881/3883 are not moving very quickly since they are still stuck in the launch day bottleneck. It always seems to take forever to get through those..... especially when they don't move at all for months on end. Since you will be eating the stupid tariff regardless, I suggest trying to get a card through Best Buy or another retailer. You will probably get a card faster that way if you put in a little effort. I have heard of a lot of people getting cards that way, but until the miners go away and the scalping ends you will have to compete against bots.

think of it as saving some money in the long run bro. As for the GPU you wont be paying scalper prices encouraging them to continue to do that and when you reload your own ammo you are saving a ton of money compared to buying ammo. Waiting does suck, but that is the times we live in right now. Atleast you are ahead of me in the 3080 hybrid queue. I was stupid and didn't sign up for that one until January 10, 2021. More than likely, I'll have my hydro copper card instead of the hybrid. There's two sides to every coin and the glass isn't always half empty. keep the faith and follow the light that those who administer the queues are providing. The end of your journey to getting your new gpu is coming sooner than many others behind you.

Okay, even more movement on the 3775 today, seems like we have gotten past a bottleneck most likely. Makes me fear if there are more bottleckneks on that SKU between where it is now and my spot in line witch happens to be on 1/2/21 12:43:01 AM PT.

And the card queue now on 9/20/2020 at 20:44:37...3897.
So I'm not mad after 6 months of waiting, which is super annoying and frustrating for sure, but my question is when do I expect start intereing September 21th?? Like a month from now 2 months? Any predictions about it??

Check the doc, you're coming up pretty soon. The queue has already reached the 21st and the last email sent today was for the 21st at 1 a.m. Hopefully you get your card soon! Hoping the rest of September can be cleared before the April price hike!

I think lot of people will drop their queue after April price hike up, and will w8 for the 4000 series for normal prices after the mining bubble.

I'm at the end of Jan for my earliest signed up card, and that one hasn't seen movement in ages. All my higher-priced card notifies are from earlier this month. I'm just shrugging and saving my funds for it and my cpu. Just somewhat hoping that I'm able to afford whichever card comes my way when my number comes up.
Be and Do in equal measure. Yes, that includes being patient on getting the new computer rig completed. Independent superheroines ftw! My guess would be that EVGA is not making loads of profit on these cards. Keeping them at the industry's LOWEST msrp compared to other brands, offering 3% associate discounts, and shipping lower volume than big box retailers (amazon, walmart, bby) doesn't give them a whole lot of disposable profit margins to offer free shipping with. I'm sure they quality for some business shipping tiered discounts, but I doubt it's anywhere near the level of those larger retailers I mentioned.

Thanks for the slight uplift. I have been keeping my eyes open at Best Buy as well since they seem to be the only retailer within my immediate area that is honoring MSRPs and not gouging prices. I am still hopeful to land an EVGA card and I know the Tariffs price is still lower then the doubling up of pricing everywhere else, but these bot scalpers, and miners just need to go away. As much as teh 3897 is a higher version of the card, I will settle with any version of the RTX 3080 from EVGA, as I plan on replacing the heatsink/fan combo with a water block. Just need to have patience and hope sooner then later lol
