There's a spreadsheet in the North American Step Up Queue for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra thread in the Step Up forum area. Not sure if anyone is bothering to update their status anymore, but I do know that people are mostly complaining in it about it not moving, AT ALL, pretty much since before December's break started. Makes me glad I didn't wait on step up, that's for sure.
Thanks, makes me realize how little chance I have getting a Step Up option for the 3080 at the original price (prior to the April date). Looks like my best chance will be waiting on my notify me date of 9/23, versus the step up date of later in October.

Spring Festival begins on Friday, but I would fully expect companies observing the holiday to start to close down by Wednesday...the knock-on effect of the closure to hit the queue a few weeks down the road. In the meantime, the frequency and volume of drops already feels less than what they were just a few weeks ago. It is with that backdrop that we again turn our eyes to the inter-tubes, to our in-boxes and to the sky (in silent prayer for gaming goodness to descend upon us in the form of heavy, heavy drops). Good luck to you this week; may your hunt prove fruitful. Given the reports on scarcity of GPUs through Q1, is EVGA going to extend the grandfathered prices, or are we still stuck with hoping for a card by 4/15?

I feel that the current extension of grandfathered pricing is already more than other manufacturers are doing. So most likely not and I wouldn't fault them for it.

Good point. We should be thankful for all that EVGA has done. I certainly am. :) No one else has used the queue system, which at least gives us hope rather than F5-spamming. And the grandfathering of prices was also a great thing. Once cards are available, whenever that may be, I'm sticking with EVGA. Higher price or not, they're worth it. :)

mech9t5 Man, you must live out of the major cities. For me, I have a lot of options for Canada Computers that are close by, one being less 5 min away, while others are between 15-30 min away and the same for BB. For Memory Express, well that's another story since I'm not in the west coast (most of them are in the west). The closest is about 2 hours away. But yes, every since NCIX closed (they used to have a storefront), Canada Computers has been my go to for storefront and Newegg for online. I found that Amazon prizes are always higher than Canada Computers and Newegg.
Yep, I do. I live in a 12K city in middle of Quebec. All the electronic stores, outside of Best Buy, are located in the Monteral region which is, like I said, a 6h drive minimum. Not even Quebec City has a Canada Computer. And, even if it did, it's still a 3h drive for me. Like, there's *nothing* here. Then, they want us to buy local......... As for online, I found that the prices are all over the place. Newegg has probably the best selection. Unless you can see they are shipping from Canada, shipping's gonna get ya. Oh, and talking about Canada Computers, I had my first order ever with them shipped today. An AIO.

Yeah, that's not good. I feel for you. For me, I'm in the Toronto area and there are 5 Canada Computers here and 4 in the Greater Toronto Area that are relatively close. Congrats on the AIO.

I bought the EVGA Z10 brown switch keyboard from Amazon for $43 the other day. The blue switch one is $115 and more for both types if you want adjustable RBG but the red-backlit brown-switch one must be getting cleared out or something. Really nice solid keyboard with great build quality and the LCD screen works wonders with AIDA64 for displaying my system info. Finally replaced my ancient G15 from 14+ years ago

I doubt they will extend it. They've given us fair warning as to the price increase for the queue, which is a lot more than any other AIB provided their consumers. I would not expect a reprieve from the price increase.

Funny, I just purchased the Steelseries Apex Pro. I originally had the Logitech G513 Carbon. Decent until I realized that the symbols were not backlit and the ink they used to print the symbols on the keys disappeared in low light. Not quite sure what engineer authorized that move... The Apex Pro is amazing, however. The trigger point for every typical keyboard key can be adjusted. I've already used it to prevent my fat fingers from mistyping a letter here and there.

It's more of a low-cost way to get brownie points from the community for "trying" while not taking much of a financial ding given the scant amount of cards being released.

The Apex Pro looks awesome. I use Steel Series for my mice (650 Wireless currently) but I did not consider them for my keyboard. I just bought a Ducky One or I would be seriously considering the Apex Pro. Putting it on my list for next time. Thanks for the recommendation.

Agreed. After talking with the wifey, we'll be OK for getting a 30-series card, no matter when I am able to get it. We may even be able to get a 3090, with me doing some saving. Benefit of being newly married - tax breaks! That said, I will be getting an EVGA card when the time comes, because of all they've done to help. And, given how much work you've done to keep this thread going, my plan is to use your associate's code. :)

Sure thing. I don't typically get excited about keyboards, but the Apex Pro is a work of art. Simply amazing and a joy to use.

I'm probably not going to get a card before April. But EVGA is taking a hit on margins to some degree by having this grandfather clause. They weren't like MSI throwing the big middle finger at their customers. It's a nice gesture, but they are eating the tariff war burden to do so. They can't do it forever. Ask congress to back off this ridiculous trade war that hurts US consumers more than it helps.

Funny thing, I just literally came back from BB, curbside pickup, for the Corsair K100 RGB Optical-Mechanical Gaming Keyboard — CORSAIR OPX Switch. They keys are reportedly rated for 150 million key strokes. The key switches are similar to the Razer keyboard optical switches.

mech9t5 Glad you indicated that there are several people who have an Associates Code....hint, hint...
After the whambulancemobile bit about how I "flaunt my code" and "don't really do anything to "deserve" people using it", I figured being more blatant with the fact that I'm saying USE A CODE, ANY CODE instead of highlighting just mine & ENewt's, to prove my point that it's about getting people a free fruggin' discount and not necessarily using mine, was a good approach. Really nice solid keyboard with great build quality and the LCD screen works wonders with AIDA64 for displaying my system info. Finally replaced my ancient G15 from 14+ years ago
I bought one of those back in November... one of the single worst purchases I've ever made of computer hardware. I'm used to premium keyboards, the Z10 is anything but imo. I paid $71 for it, and I'd say at most it's worth about the same as a run of the mill walmart keyboard - Pretty sure I said in my review I'd give it 0 stars if I could. I've never been more disappointed in an eVGA product, and it was one of my most disappointing purchases ever. The only reason I didn't return it was, despite the extended holiday return window, the whole "returning an item I used for a month for a refund" thing when it's something like a keyboard that gets a lot of daily literally hands-on use, did not sit right with me. I'm getting a Corsair K100 in sometime this week - that thing BETTER be LAWD HELP IT impressive for that price... snagged it for $207 instead of the MSRP of $229+, but that's still the most I've ever spent on a keyboard. If it doesn't hit every point I expect out of a high end keyboard, it's definitely going back. My current, decrep'ed because it is old, keyboard is an Alienware AW768 with Cheery MX Brown switches - which for the price, was one of my favorite keyboards ever. Unfortunately, I broke one of it's legs on top of it being old & impossible to actually get clean because of it's design. I temporarily replaced both legs with old SteelSeries mouse pad & duct tape, but yeah... it's going out to pasture, I hope. mech9t5

mizzer Funny, I just purchased the Steelseries Apex Pro.
The Apex Pro looks awesome. I use Steel Series for my mice (650 Wireless currently) but I did not consider them for my keyboard. I just bought a Ducky One or I would be seriously considering the Apex Pro. Putting it on my list for next time. Thanks for the recommendation.
'eeeeeeeey twinsies lol

avacdavison Agreed. :)
Opening up the universe of cards that you could buy to the 3090 should help. Thanks for your kind words and your consideration; it is all appreciated. mizzer

Sure thing. I don't typically get excited about keyboards, but the Apex Pro is a work of art. Simply amazing and a joy to use.
While the Ducky is working just fine for my needs, the Apex Pro looks quite nice. Quite. My prior keyboard was a Logitech G910 and it was great...until it wasn't (the s and t keys started to drag/stick and it was a quick demise)...all in, about three years.

Indeed. So totally unworkable for my purposes.
