@evga_jacobF What if I had the wrong email allocated to my account and just updated it to match my notify email i entered?

In his twitter he said create a new account with the same email. I cant find the tweet tho. I don't know if he mentioned if updating account will work or not.

"Also note that your email address that was used for the notify system MUST MATCH an email that has a registered EVGA account, if an account is not available with that email, you will need to create one before you can purchase."  ~Jacob

If you could create the account after you receive the email then updating it shouldn't be an issue.  The point is the notify email must match a registered EVGA account in order to complete the purchase.

So I was able to edit my email address on my account (not need to create a new) and it has my original notifies showing up on the "my notifies". Super happy about this!

Sorry for Posting two in short amount of time:

Question:
I heard that FTW3 Ultra has more stock or is being produced faster/earlier than FTW3 Gaming. What's the reason behind it, and is it true?

I would imagine both higher demand and a higher profit margin.
For a company, ultimately, money talks

Let me restate my post a little.
They test a chip, it hits 1800. BOOM FTW3 Ultra
They test a chip, it hits 1785. BOOM FTW3 Gaming

So, I guess they are getting really nice chips.
If they can make it an ULTRA, they are going to because that's a higher margin and there is a ton of demand for it.

no they flash a bios 1800, they flash a bios 1785. no one bins that difference. Its way to make u spend the extra 20. Asus does the same thing with the strix.

Looks like I signed up for, hopefully they do the XC3 black soon I think I got a shot at that.
XC3 Black 9/17 12:01:39AM
FTW Ultra 9/17 4:23:34 PM
The rest at 10/4 9:50PM

I'm on 9/16 for all 3 XC3 models , no email Im hoping they are in stock next week but here is hoping I get the one with backplate unless they also sell the backplate separate so I grab whatever comes first.

This was my concern. I only signed up for the Gaming because the Ultra seems wasteful for what seems to be only a 25mhz difference for $20.00. They make more money on the Ultras though and so long as people are buying them, they would be incentivized to make more of those. The Gaming edition might take a while.

I only signed up early for the non backplate one, wasn't aware at that time. That said it doesn't matter much and Ill be vertically mounting.

Yea, agreed. That's why I have queued for FTW3 Gaming on 9/22. but when I heard the rumor/news I signed up for FTW3 Ultra today. Let's see what'll reach me first.

Thank you javelina1, wseibert, and nycx360 for your response!

Someone just replied on reddit about us having multiple notifications , apparently once you buy a card then the other notifications are then disqualified?

Is there an answer for this? Like many here I signed up for all of them and I'm trying to decide whether to pass on a model etc .

Thanks

I am in the same boat, sold a 2070 ftw super and currently seriously worried it will take a few weeks to get through just the sign ups on 9/17 alone.  No real way to track it, were all guessing here.

That's what I would think but still on reddit the dude sounded like that was offical. 1 card then all other email get disqualified.

Thank you @EVGA_JacobF for changing it from 5 hours to 8 hours. I work in Law Enforcement and don't have access to my personal phone while on duty, the 5 hour time limit would have excluded me from almost ever getting to the email on time in order to make the purchase time. 8 Hours makes it way more feasible. I'm sure there are other people in similar circumstances and while I can't speak for them, I extremely appreciative of this change and the efforts EVGA is putting in trying to get us all access to cards.

My brother is is Leo too. You work 10 hour shifts right?

I'm pretty sure Jacob did a reply on Twitter saying all buy links work even for the same household because each card has different queues. So we could all end up with multiple cards. I no longer care I'm buying them all and handing them out to my friends.

Maybe coming to the "Source" of the information is a good idea instead of another site? Check out the first post in this thread...

Just so I can temper my expectations here, can I expect to get one this month? next couple of months? I understand if this is not something that can be answered

I attached the image but basically any 3080 and my earliest sign up was on 10/5 around 12pm.

I don't know about volume but this article from last year https://www.pcgamesn.com/hardware-guides/how-nvidia-amd-graphics-card-are-made talks about this factory being able to produce 4000 units a day, looks like they are Zotac cards. I wonder what EVGA's production capability is? This might also explain why Zotac cards kept popping up as available for me over the last week or so.

Ok, I see it now. Thank you. However, I still don't 100% believe the 50K number since there is no source that actually confirms it. Could be true, but generally I'd like to see something a big more concrete than "reportedly over 50,000 before EVGA even made this announcement" without actually quoting anyone, or any other article. In fact, the article they use as a source doesn't even mention it.

But either way, if it is 10k or 50k that were signed up before the launch of the queue system, everyone still has a pretty long wait until it's through.
