Dabadger84 You ever have a 9800GX2? Those ran hot as heck too, 2 PCBs sandwiched with the GPUs only 2 slots away form each other, facing eachother, it was hard to keep those things cool, I had 2 of them in Quad-SLi (they called it Quad instead of 4-Way because it was 2 Dual GPU cards in SLi) and it was hilarious how bad it performed in some games but how well it scaled in others.
Heh kid, in 2006 I had 1GB e-GeForce 7950 GX2, but furnace champ was GTX480 (Fermi).

aleeexbat For 3070 FTW3 it took 1 week to get about 1.5 min - assuming that stays steady (I sure hope not) - worst case scenario is we progress to 6:12 by the end of the year. Idk if that is good news or bad news
It should go slightly faster than that, but not much. The heaviest load is in the first 8 minutes or so...then it begins to ease up. The 3070s are REALLY front loaded because everybody was prepared for the launch (the 3070 launch was different in that the queue system was announced first). But, yes, I agree...not sure if that is good or bad news. But I will choose to take any progress as erring on the side of positivity.

Heh kid, in 2006 I had 1GB e-GeForce 7950 GX2, but furnace champ was GTX480 (Fermi).
Specifically the fact that the 9800GX2 was their last attempt at a dual-PCB-single-card design with an SLi bridge between the two PCBs, was pretty insane to even try & do that, and it ran hot accordingly. I was too poor in 2006 to afford high end GPUs, I had to save for like 3 months to get a 7800GTX when they were "new" cuz they ran like $700 at the time lol The craziest setup I've ever ran was more recent though, it's tied between the first & second QuadFire setups I ran: Was obviously the crazier of the two, the other was 2 R9 295x2s which were liquid looped cards from the start. I am really sad NVidia has done away with multi GPU tbh. Will be interesting to see how gaming motherboard makers handle Multi GPU being kinda completely dead, if they stop making boards with multiple PCIe x16 slots or not for "gaming" platforms like Zen 3 etc. Wonder how much longer it'll be before I get to my spot in the 3070 Ultra queue so I can get this dude his card... Hopefully that purchase doesn't interfere with my 3080 Hybrid... matter o fact I'm gonna contact him & get the money up front this time. lol

It wouldn't fit anywhere else because of the top PSU & the top of the case only having mounting room for a 280mm without the top PSU lol

I was on NVidia forums back when they were a cool community, dunno how they are now because I lost access to the email that's connected to that account... which sucks because I had a ridiculous amount of posts on there, something like 10k+ - I was also on Trubritar Forums as a Mod before that went defunct after Trub got his divorce & his wife took him for a crapton of his computer-stuff because it all had such value being a reviewer & all. I remember back then most normal/fun users avoided eVGA forums like the plague because everyone on here back then (for the most part) was elitist & very "go away you're a noob" to anyone that didn't have high end NVidia hardware... I'm glad that's changed lol I also had another eVGA account that I somehow lost everything on as well... I don't remember what my old name was or I'd like to it lol

Now I'm trying to remember what my old name was on here... I found my old NVidia account, 11146 posts, RIP cuz I can't access it :-D When they migrated to the crappy forum service they're on now it reset everything so I couldn't connect the old account with my new email, because I didn't have access to the old email. Tried to contact an Admin that actually works for NVidia now, via Steam (because I have him on Steam from back then) but he never responded to me, probably doesn't remember who I am lol

Thanks for the kind words! I agree, the bold font is an improvement.
While the bold font is an improvement in visibility, one thing I find missing is knowing what it was previously, and trying to find the previous post in amongst all the others :) I hate to make requests of something someone is doing out of the kindness of their own heart, but if it isn't that much more work it would be great to see the previous position on just the ones that did move.

*queue the NO SOUP FOR YOU guy saying NO GPU FOR YOU* It is quite odd how some GPU SKUs have seemingly not been in production at all despite some of them having been out for weeks/months now.

I don't know. But the same is true for the 3070 XC3 Gaming and the 3090 XC3 Black, as well as the 3080 FTW3 Gaming. These cards seem to have been announced, but only to be manufactured later, when the cutting-edge enthusiasts (that's us) have already secured their cards...that is the best I can come up with.

An earlier version of the table had an additional column that showed actual movement in days/minutes/seconds. It was too complicated for some thread members and I ended up spending a good amount of time responding to PMs asking for help deciphering the table. Let me try to accommodate your ask with tonight's version. [Thank you for the feedback, by the way!]

showing a delta movement is more work than I meant. I meant just show the current que position and the last position :)

I've just been lurking but I wanted to thank this topic for existing. It's a bit of a bummer seeing that the times I signed up for (6:19-6:20 AM 10/29) for the 3070s might mean I wait months but it's nice to have some context instead of just sitting around and wondering if it'll ever happen. And I signed up way too late for the 3080s so I probably wouldn't see those ever XD .
Keep up the great work Enewt!

Hello I was wondering if anyone knew why after two months EVGA has not started producing all of the different 3080 cards it had listed back in Sept (like the 3883 and 3895)? Has EVGA decided not to produce these cards? The reason I am asking is those are the two 3080 cards that I queued up to buy and if they are not going to be produced then I need to join another queue or look somewhere else. thank you

How crazy is EBay right now on these GPUs again now that AMD's cards went the way of the scalpers too? 3070 just sold for $770. 3080s are back up to mostly $1200+. 3090s are $1800-$2200. Insane people are actually paying those prices. $1800 for a 3090 if it's a decent model isn't too bad, but the rest of them are ridiculous. ar7n99rn Hello I was wondering if anyone knew why after two months EVGA has not started producing all of the different 3080 cards it had listed back in Sept (like the 3883 and 3895)? If you're in the queue for the 2 cards that haven't moved/been made yet, sorry to hear that, and I would definitely see if you can find one in a local store or elsewhere, because getting in queue for one of the others now, you're going to be waiting a looooooooong time.

Man, that blows. I'm sorry to hear that. I would suggest calling EVGA support directly, hope that'll get sorted out.

Dabadger84 getting closer to me getting this dude his GPU, I'm at 08G-P5-3767-KR10/29/2020 6:09:02 AM PT lol
You reckon this week or maybe next week? I've a friend in queue at 08G-P5-3767-KR 10/29/2020 6:08:59 AM PT
LUL we'll be lucky if we get it before the end of the year with how densely packed the first 10 minutes of the queue probably are TBH. qhhuang My 3080 ftw3 was lost by UPS. Now I am contacting UPS and EVGA to apply for compensation. I would like to ask if the 3080 ftw3 ultra gaming I queued to buy at evga estore this time is really lost. Do I have a chance to join the queue again?
Man that sucks... hopefully eVGA will get their compensation from UPS & send you another card, that should be how that works out, if UPS lost it, that has nothing to do with you and they should send you another card and purpose compensation from UPS directly (and given eVGA's relationship with UPS, using them exclusively for shipping, I'm sure UPS will be take care of it lol)
