.... Trust the plan????
Hell yes! I was having PTSD flashbacks of adding to cart but not being able to checkout. Worked like a charm this time. Whoever at EVGA came up with this idea deserves a nice big raise.

mweyrich I have asked my question a couple times here but Jacob hasn't answered. Does Jacob answer direct PMs? Just trying to find out if we're disqualified from the queue if in the past we signed up to notifications with multiple emails from multiple EVGA accounts.
I have two EVGA accounts by accident, this one (from 2005) and I have a newer one made last year. At the 3080 launch I signed up for notifications to both emails, just to have a backup incase one email didn't go through. Am I now disqualified from the queue due to any kind of anti-spam/bot measures?
You may feel you have not been answered, but you have... What ever email you had been logged into when you asked for the notification, is the email you need to be logged into on the EVGA site, when it comes time to click the link in your email notification and make the purchase.

It will. Hopefully in a week or two max when they see it working very well for multiple products at once (3080 + 3090).

My concern isn't about that. My concern is if there's code in EVGA's backend that is checking for email notifications from multiple EVGA accounts of the same person, and disqualifying those people for trying to game the queue. In my case I'm not trying to game the system, I just happened to register notifications to multiple emails from different EVGA accounts before the queue system went into effect.

No it is not disqualifying you. And why the question is being answered like it is. Hope that helps!

Why will no one (Nvidia/partners) give out ballpark numbers for this stuff??? Like: estimated production per week number of cards in each of these drops number of people in the EVGA queue estimated percentage of queue cleared per week Why is everyone so hush hush about actual numbers?

However, on a more serious note. The EVGA staff is spending their time trying to make it all work. Having to stop and answer all those questions, as the answers will adjust daily if not more than once a day. An impractical ask.

I just got my email guys, it looks like this:
Dear Valued Customer, This email is being sent in response to your request to be notified with availability updates for product 10G-P5-3897-KR and this product was marked as being in stock on 10/6/2020 at 2:11 PM PST. Please use the unique URL to complete your purchase. Due to this being a limited supply product you have 5 hours to complete your purchase from the time of receiving this email, if not complete within 5 hours of receiving this email, the product will become unavailable and you will need to enter the notify queue again. Please Note : You must be logged into the EVGA website and your profile email address MUST match the address that you used to sign up for notify. Direct Product Link: 10G-P5-3897-KR Thank you, EVGA Sales Team Just to answer some of the questions for experienced facts: 1) I renewed my reminder notice at 3:30am EST. So It does NOT reset you. 2) EVGA is badass. 3) Shipping costs are still astronomical. 4) Using Associate Code (VKHJ8KATGBMVC6L), you saved $40.50!

If I put in my email for auto notify on a few cards before I created an EVGA account would this affect my place in the queue or does it not matter since I have an account now, that would kind of suck if it affected it because I put in my email pretty shortly after the 3080 launch but didn't actually create an account until the other day.

TchPowDog That doesn't help
Yeah, I know. For those of us that like facts and want to do our best in scheduling and life. It gets frustrating! Look at it this way as well... EVGA is also a distributor. So if they offered this information, you and I both know folks would pick it apart and start dividing up the inventor to please "Their" wishes. Not the contract agreements EVGA has with etailers. And or start doing their own math and try and outsmart what they think is the "System".

zhaobw9000 Do you mind sharing when you clicked the autonotify button, just we could get some crude idea of how long to expect the notification email. Thanks!
It was right after the site came back up after the crash when they sold out, so really early.

I must be at the bottom of the list since I had email notification on launch day for both the 3080 and 3090. Lucky if I get a card by next year. I never even received a email any at all.

I don't know this. Numbers would prove it though. I could be #500 in line or #50,000. If knew what number I was or about how many people they'll get through in a week, then I would either wait for my email or keep trying to get a card elsewhere. Don't tell me to be patient. I don't need a card for gaming, I need it for my company. This isn't about patience, it's about productivity.

Yea, I feel like I did auto-notify on the 16th or on launch day after the site crashed when everything went live. Here is hoping I am not too far down in the queue. Thanks again to the EVGA team and @EVGA_JacobF.

If you really need it, have you tried discussing with various wholesalers or business units to sell to your company? There shouldn't be a need to shop retail if you're buying for your company. And yes, the queue system is a guarantee regardless of where you are in line. If you have to hunt retail, keep at it with Newegg, Nvidia, Best buy, Microcenter, etc etc. and see which comes first.

That's simple. If 100k people signed for notification, at 1k card per day rate (which for now seems unlikely) that's still 100 days waiting to those on the back since emails are during business hours and are valid for 8 hours.
That's 3 months and 10 days wait. That's... Very unlikely to please everyone. I think this is why we need some numbers because depending on the number of notifications signed up, you might know if it's better to look elsewhere or to wait your turn here.

How you treat strangers is a good example of how you treat people in general. Big cringe. If you need a pro level card, the pro line is coming soon, and the titan rtx still exists. If whatever your doing can't be done by last gen tech, like everyone else that hasn't upgraded, re-evaluate your process and needs, pay someone to wait in line in real life, or wait like everyone else.
