Society has a victim problem the more I read through these forums, Get on discord click on links and buy if u don't try u cant complain..
I would be more likely to say there is a phase of adjustment. Many people need to adjust their view of the hobby of playing video games and weather it is worth the expense of the graphics card and may adjust their spending habits and pay increased price or forgo the expense and do something completely different with their money. Like for me "a very casual pc gamer" I can purchase a project a good motorcycle for the price of a 3070 and if I have the choice the bike wins out, or I might rather spend the funds on tickets to go on a trip ect. I think people gripe because they are forced to forgo something they previously enjoyed and could justify and now have to forgo as they can no longer justify the expenditure.

I just keep telling people to buy a laptop and forget about this craziness for a year or two. You can get a GOOD (6/8 core + 3060) laptop for about $1k if you track sales, so the price of JUST a scalped 3060ti. Most of them have very good if not excellent I/O so bam instant desktop. Done. And in that configuration the longevity goes up exponentially vs a laptop used in travel day to day, you have an all encompassing warranty, and most are pretty upgradeable. I'm currently using a Legion 5 as a 'desktop', but snagged a 3060ti from EVGA so put that in a 'I can't get an Xbox so I'll build my own' PC out in the living room (which was an extravagance, granted). For your example, yeah if you have say $5k to blow, how much do you want to be tied into a computer? That 3060ti build I put together pushes 4k well to our TV in everything short of heavy titles like Valhalla and MS Flight (1440P is good on those). In an ideal market you could do that build for about ~$1400, leaving $3600 for other stuff, and getting 90% of the day to day usability of a 12900K/3090 TI build. At a certain point you're just spending money to spend money, the same way people buy an $80k truck with an untouched bed/hitch to drive to work and back.

The victimhood I talk about is these pity partys i see in this forum ive got 10 gpus since january i mine ravencoin with them ive been in the lines just like everyone and spent hours clicking links all day and got them people want things handed to them is where i feel the victomhood is steming from either spend time or spend extra money its simple.

I'm seriously contemplating buying the 3090 ti if it gets a kp edition like the 3090 and running dual cards in my pc and mine to offset cost if it so long as it doesn't cost 3k 😅

I won a Newegg shuffle for an overprices Zotac 3070ti with a Z590 motherboard I don't need. *sad wallet noises*
Already regret it but I am one of the unlucky few with a 3070 XC3 (3751) on the queue and at this point hasn't moved in several months.

EVGA is a NA vendor. They have global sales but those are primarily through their authorized vendors. The queue is, unfortunately, moving slowly. The queue is not and has never been promised as a guarantee that you will receive a notification. You should pursue all avenues for getting your graphics card. Reply to the notification email indicating your intent to purchase and explain what is happening. Then call support and let them know what's happening, and that you replied to the email.

I finally got my notification today and thank you for the coupon to enewt. It took a few attempts and some profile changes to get the SMS verification to work, but I managed to put the order through. Good luck to others that are still waiting in the queue, and hope the queue moves up soon for the EU brothers.

Yup, done all that. Same result. I got a message from sales/support telling me to do the same. Still not working. Maybe the availability weas an error. :\
