You cant make that comparison tho Burn.  The entries were weighted very heavily towards the beginning of the queue... I think someone said that 50% or more were between golive and noon on the 17th.  Once they clear that hurdle the queue system will become less and less needed.

True. And a second peak when EVGA announced the notify queue a couple of days later.

As I recall the second peak was substantially smaller than the first one.  Something like 33% in first 24 hours, then like 20% combined over the next several days bridging the launch and the announcement of the queue.  Then 20% or so in the 24 hours of the queue announcement and then the rest have been stragglers since then.  Plus or minus 5% on all of that.

TLDR; once we get through the first 24 hours or so of each card's queue, the queues should begin to move through each day a lot faster...until we get to the traffic jam around the queue announcement...then rinse and repeat.  3090s will go faster as their are substantially fewer auto-notifies prior to the queue announcement.

Definitely a lesser peak, but a peak nonetheless.

I was so hoping the 3090 FTW3 Ultra stream would continue today, but alas, nope. I'm only 9 places away from the the most recent email on the spreadsheet.

It looks like there were a bunch of 3080 FTW3 Ultras out today though, and even a few 3080 XC3 Ultras as well, so that's good news.

Gratz!!! Was it the 3080 XC3 Ultra, ot the 3080 FTW3 Ultra at 2:50pm.. spreadsheet might have them mixed up. Also, are you canceling the others or keeping them open for now until your card is safe and confirmed good?

XC3 like I said. You only get 1. It's my understanding if you order you can't order any other card or at best get moved to the end of the line.

Unless they changed something that I missed, that's not the way it works - although that should be exactly how it works.

Yep, you can sign up for as many different part#'s as you want. Once you order a particular part then and then you have to start all over again at the end of the line. As far as I know I have not heard EVGA officially change this policy yet. So, you can potentially have a person that signed up on launch day for all 5 parts and pay for all five and just scalp them.

You don't start at the end of the line for the other models.  You stay in your respective queue for each part#, so you theoretically could get  5 queue e-mails on the same day if you signed up for 5 different ones.  Obviously that won't happen, but that's EVGA's policy.

Right, you go to the end for the part you buy not all of them.

This queue is moving so slow. I figured I had no chance of getting a card this year, but the last few weeks confirmed that. Good luck to the rest of you that signed up on 9/17. You'll should have one by year end.

I would wait until the end of next week until you lose hope. Jacob hinted at another larger drop this week. If they're moving to multiple large drops per week, things would accelerate considerably.

I feel like this has been repeated almost every week for the last month. I feel like it isn't very truthful because there is no context with actual numbers. If there were 100 cards last week, anything more than 100 is a larger drop. This queue was a good idea as was the Elite signup, but it was after the fact, so the waiting continues.

Still like 650 away for the 3080 FTW3 Ultra, but I was showing in position 300-something for 3080 FTW3 Gaming, which seemed strange, since I clicked notify for the ultra on 9/23 and for the FTW3 Gaming on 10/6, unless the spreadsheet is still off. Either way, I don't think I'm getting a card soon  :(

Bummer. I started a new build. I'm awaiting the new AMD CPU's as well, so hopefully I can get one of those timely and just keep using my old EVGA 1070 for now.

It feels like it has sped up, but we need it to speed up more if we are going to get through this in 2020.

CP2077 was delayed to Dec. 10th. Was building a desktop just to play it since I've been using a laptop for so long (job required a lot of moving for awhile). I do hope I can get a 3080 before then as now I can upgrade CPU to 5900X as well with the delayed launch. I just don't have a GPU right now so hoping I don't have to shell out for a 2080Ti as I'm probably going to if I can't get a 3080 by release of CP2077. Unless 3070 actually is better than the 2080Ti.

Sweet build, You could just get a 10 or 20 series card off Ebay to get up and running until your spot in the queue comes up.
