Seems here in the UK that a lot more 30 series cards are in the stores now. Yes at inflated prices but not as expensive as the were a month ago. Yet here we are still waiting for EVGA to supply cards we have ordered in January of this year. Retailer's get first preference that's the way it is. I kept watching sites for stock and I got lucky. I got my 3060 ichill x3 from a well known uk online retailer and four days later it arrived to me in Éire even with our 23% vat it was only about €100 over msrp. My 1070 was close to cashing its chips in and so I grabbed the 3060. its a very good gpu BTW, runs cool, quick and very quite. I have a respectable time for a 3070ti but I'm not likely to see it before Christmas the way the queue is going. I wish you the best of luck and keep an eye on other sources and you might get lucky. They are, I got the email this morning for the switch to KL model.

What retailers out of curiosity? I haven’t bothered looking that hard over the months since I figured I’d never get one anyone. As luck turned out, I was selected in the Newegg shuffle. I paid MSRP for the card, but… was forced to buy a $60 PSU as well. Suppose that could be classified as scalping in a sense. Otherwise, Best Buy seemed to list cards at MSRP.

Response to ObscureEmpyre. Retailers her in the UK. I wont name names but these retailers know who they are. Been scalping prices from day one. Some prices were higher than scalpers on eBay and that says a lot about the prices they were charging. Like i said how EVGA etc. allow this to happen when they give the retailers a manufactures retail price and as said they BUY AT TRADE PRICES is beyond me. When you buy from a site it says now 1 per household so trying to stop scalping. Not so for retailers it seems who can order say 10 units and scalp the buyers with impunity. Rant over as i need to watch paint dry.

Prices will return to normalish pre epidemic as supplies increase but while folks are willing to pay scalp prices they are happy to take it off them. The week I bought the 3060 an online retailer here had a used 2080ti 11gb for €950 and for €220 less I got a brand new 12gb 3060. The 2080 was gone in an hour. Crazy or whot! I've a nice selection of Beers to tide me over while I wait for the 3070ti and the lounge here is not so bad. 🙂 Best of luck to you all and hopefully your wait will be short. Womble560

ook, they changed my KR backorder to KL, but they talk just about gaming performance. Are rendering performance not impacted? I also need the card for DaVinci Resolve and Cinema 4D. EDIT: In Cinema 4D is used OctaneRender

LHR on the KL versions only affects ETH hash rates, not gaming, rendering, CUDA, etc. Take a peek at any of the articles that have been posted online about NVIDIA LHR.

Reply to the email and indicate your intention to purchase the card. Then call their customer service line - they are open for one more hour. Any chance you are trying to purchase it from outside North America?

Do EVGA block non NA cards on the NS store or did you mean they do an IP check on checkout for you location?
EVGA maintains 2 sites: EVGA.com and eu.EVGA.com. For each sku that EVGA sells in the respective region, there is a queue per each of those sites (so, by way of example, for the 3897-KR, one queue for EVGA.com and one for sure.EVGA.com). If you register for a queue on EVGA.con, they will only ship to a Us, Puerto Rican, or Canadian address (but not to known freight forwarders) and will only accept North American-based payment methods (so they will not accept a EU credit card as payment). PayPal will likely need a North American based address for its pay or account or also be flagged. Bottom line, if you are from outside US, Canada or PR, you may need a close friend/family based in NA to buy it for you…if you are queued up on the EVGA.com queue. Hope that explanation made sense. I am technically still asleep.

why is it that the EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA GAMING, 08G-P5-3767-KL says you can have two cards per address but no other card is allowed this??? my son and I both want the same 3070 ti cards for our computers but are not allowed. But on this card it is allowed? what up with that?

Its actually Light Hash Rate. Performance is about halved in mining workloads, primarily Ethereum however other coins are effected.
EDIT: Should also note this only effects mining, all other workloads are basically the same performance.
