It is possible that once they fulfil the current queue and get more stocked up they will reignite it. If demand dies down at some point and they are able to begin producing a variety of SKUs again, absolutely. I just don't see demand dying down this generation :/

I thought I saw it for a second, but I was so focused on the FTW3, I ended up with tunnel vision.
 
I can't believe I almost sat this launch out too. I had such a struggle with it last time, part of me didn't want to bother. If only I could have used up all of my luck last time instead of this time.. lol

Congrats to everyone else who managed to snag a card today! It's about time that you were able to <3 You'd better believe I popped Enewt's code into the checkout. The only thing now is I gotta figure out which one of my buddies gets this card.. I was hoping to get a 3080 Ti and give them my 3080, but that didn't happen :/ Maybe we'll be able to find someone to do an MSRP trade with and then all of us (well, unfortunately just both of us) will get what we want.
Also reporting back - my mate that camped out at Micro Center overnight was also able to get an EVGA 3070 Ti! He's psyched about it and we are going to celebrate with some F1 2020 tonight :D

Associates have codes that can give non-associates a 3% discount off the cost of the gpu purchase at checkout.  
 
Edit: the 20% is a discount code that is a one-time possibility when somebody obtains Elite status for the first time (it is a recent development and old Elites like me are not eligible).

i understand about the associates codes, but i saw a member post about 20% off.  I was just wondering. thanks

Ooooooooooh, that's a different thing. Newer elite members (I'm not sure when exactly it started, but older Elite members didn't get the benefit) got a wheel to spin that had various single-item percentage discounts (5-40 %) or other free goodies. That's the big discount code that people are mentioning. Have you been elite for a long time? Or have you only recently registered? If it's recent, it's worth checking your elite home to see if the wheel is there.

Got my notification for the 3070TI (6:04 PST) - purchase it, not the card I wanted, still waiting on the 3080TI - hopefully tomorrow, standing at 7:53am PST, if that happens I will sell the 3070Ti..

I think your advice is mostly good EXCEPT for this point above. If you have more than one browser page open, either on the same device or a different device, you will be blocked from signing up for auto-notify. 
 
Only have one browser page open if you want to able to queue via Auto Notify.

Too late to respond to this, but ultimately not true. Case in point, I had the browser windows open on my PC, could not get in to my account; went on my phone and was able to get a notify through. If it worked for me, not reason it should not work for others. The porblem was when you had multiple tabs open in the same browser.

This launch was not as big as the 3080ti but they did that when the site crashed at 5:50 on the 3080 ti

Any news on a positive impact that the LHR cards have made during this whole shortage?

I think we are months too soon to have the data to do that post mortem.  They need to measure scalper demand decline over the summer, I would think.  And then extract the impact of the fluctuating crypto prices, consult philipma1957 and then let Jensen's PR team prepare talking points to spin the findings.

Most cards no longer go to smaller miners on eBay . Miners don't want them as the margins dropped.
LHR cards go to farms and no one wants them that have small farms under 100 cards is a small farm.
 
The small farmers are done buying cards. It is why prices  have dropped on ebay.
 
the evga 3070 ftw3 has gone from 2200 high to 1800 to 1500 to 1300 to 1250 in last 20 days.
 
 
I offered a few buy it now best offer today well under their ask of 1299 no sellers.
 
but for arguments sake a 1000 USD 3070 doing  60 mh earns $3.60  burns 4kwatts a day
 
so 3.60-.80 = 2.80 profit  or 1000/2.80 = 357 days  to break even..
 
So miners are not buying at 1000 on ebay
Sellers won't sell lower than 1200 or so on ebay and the cards are going.
 
this means gamers are the problem at this point in time.  
 
Ie ebay scalpers are only selling to gamers that can't stand the waiting.
 
what does it all mean I don't know but I would like to get a few cards at retail vs the 1 I have had for retail.  a evga 3060 the $399 model

Exactly what happened. I've literally been spamming F5 (with the help of some scripts) since 7:45 AM, they finally dropped about 15 minutes ago and they were instantly sold out. I'm so bummed out right now.

Managed to get a 3090 fe in cart, but my bank decided it was fraud and wouldn't let it go through, even after telling them I was trying to make the purchase. Ugh. I just need the 3989 to drop again soon.
