Missed out on the cheaper one. No thanks to buying a 3070 for $800 when a pretty much 3090 (3080 Ti) has an MSRP of 1200. So many cards have better value at $800. Hopefully the Newegg queue comes through, but I'm not holding my breath!
$800 just seems like a bad price, but today's market makes it reasonable if you're desperate and can actually buy one. Any card is better than no card, just disappointed that the 3070 Ti isn't a little better. It's not bad if you can get one for $600!

What I'd really like to get is the 3090 KingPin HydroCopper, but the auto-notify button for that was available for all of 6 seconds when it 'launched', and it has never come back, and won't coming back be any time soon when I asked EVGA about it earlier this week. Likewise with the Z590 Dark - not 'launching' until some time in July now, and that's just to get on a queue for it. Lol, this is crazy.
Wow, I'm so glad I gave up on the Dark back in April. EVGA has always been really slow to release motherboards, compared to other manufacturers but that is nuts. Seriously, the 12th gen Intel will be out by the time the obselete Dark comes.
They make such great MBs but I feel like it's a cottage industry for them that's tertiary (if not further) behind their GPUs and PSUs. I tried to get a Classified SR-2 back in the day but ended up getting a Tyan workstation board for my dual Xeons instead. It was such a bizarre creation: an expensive gaming board taunting us to run two expensive chips and, why not, quad-SLI. If anything it's nice to see what they offer as the high bar for the other major MB manufacturers' products.

This queue system is stupid. Took over an hour for the site to work and still no notify for the $599 version. Why don't they just do open sign-ups for a week and then randomly draw names from that. It would alleviate these issues.

Did anyone here get into the xc3 queue before the button disappeared?
Also @enewt, if possible in addition to the amount of time a sku moves queue time can we also start including the number entries within a certain time period if possible, would give a better view of the amount of congestion.

For many the only hope of getting a GPU is when a new SKU opens. So NVIDA is just pre-Scalping. This should have been a 3080 ish card, but seems to be a 3070+ card. The X memory should help some, but bench marks show it is not a huge boost. Perhaps the FTW upgraded BIOS will help get it a bit closer to a 3080 base card. At 6:07 the 599 card was gone already. Must of had at least 10 for sale. Was surprised ASUS had a base model on the Egg Scramble, as did EVGA.

Yes, confirmed on Twitter. He said they are due to arrive tomorrow. I'd guess Monday is more likely for the notifies to go out, though.

NewEgg is doing a lottery. You can sign up there about every day for some card or another. I don't think that a lottery is the way to go. The way to go is to have a website that doesn't 404 for an hour when you do a product launch so that people can sign up, then have a way to get enough cards to supply that list. Both of those are problems, right now. And while I am at it... remove the Notify buttons when the waiting list gets longer than the expected supply. They did this for one of the 3070 Ti models, but they need to do this across their whole store.
