Ok EVGA, here's a thought. You know who your Elite members are and have their emails. On the next launch, mass email a link to a product page at that is not searchable via the EVGA site. That way your Elite members don't have to contend with bots or other tomfoolery. A mass email at the product launch date and time would be the most fair way to approach this problem. Make it happen EVGA!

That doesn't work. The bots are elite members. The only way they could guarantee almost no bots would be to only allow elite members before sept 2020. They won't do that tho.  

I mean, I've been on the forums since 2009 and only became an elite member in January because I never spammed the forums and my 780Ti didn't qualify.  The other cards I've bought since then (many) were registered to the people I built systems for.  I only got membership after registering my wife's 3070.
From a business standpoint, it doesn't make sense to exclude people from elite status, unless they make it a pay-for-elite program.

We have had this discussion plenty of times here. There are plenty of ways to cut off bots including basing it on product registration,purchases from site,amount spent, etc. prior to sept as well. There will always be people who get negatively affected by methods to counteract bots but they will be the outliers. Cutting out 5k bots for 20 negatively affected people is a fair trade off. 
 
Fortunately for the bots though EVGA doesn't want to remove them so all of this is pointless to talk about.

Daresay a lot more than 20 gamers would be affected.  So even though I've had registered products since 2003, I shouldn't have a chance at a new GPU because it affects your ability to get in first, is what I'm hearing?  I don't know, sounds pretty ELITEist.
