Anyone can get notifications, but with new launches (e.g. the upcoming 3080 Ti and 3070 Ti), ONLY Elite members will be able to queue for the first 24 hours. After that, it is open to everyone else. For your notify from one month ago, I am not sure which SKU it was, but we haven't had a launch in months so you are a bit late to the party which means unfortunately, none of your notification(s) will appear for another few months. Best of luck on your search! I would recommend trying to queue up for the new cards if they are within your budget - that or Micro Center are your best bets for a card without playing the F5 roulette. Although MC will require a camping session.

diabloallica Thanks! At the time of the launch does the website become really unresponsive? Do we have to constantly press F5 or wait for the page to load? Just trying to be prepared :)
When they started a new queue for the 3898 (an AIO 3080) in mid December I was right there trying to get signed up. The signup was unresponsive for me for about 7'ish minutes, then started to loosen up for me but was still half bombing. I couldn't get a signup submitted until right at the 10 minute mark.

diabloallica Historically speaking, if I succeed to click on auto notify 2 mins after the launch as an Elite member, about how many days would I have to wait?
If you somehow get a queue spot 2 mins after launch, I'd bet you'd get the card shipped the same day. However, This is not realistic for 99% of people who will attempt to queue. Back for the 3080 hybrids, they announced the time and it crashed the site for awhile, anywhere from 30-60 mins for people. Since they removed the direct link method, very few people will get early times for this.

Hmm. I would expect that "2 minutes in" for a functioning website, you would be a few thousand down the list. Even limiting it to Elite, that does not sound like "same day". Maybe same month. After the first day, when everyone else gets to toss their hat in the ring, the expected time will quickly become months, if not a year. By the end of the week, they should basically just remove the ability to add to the Notify until the list is empty.

That's just my own experiences with EVGA. I've been in all the queues with various times. For the initial launches of products, there will be more stock than usual so I'd expect EVGA to have several hundred at the minimal of the SKU. You say functioning website but it seems to me you weren't around for some of the launches of this generation where EVGA told everyone a specific date/time and what happened during that time. Thousands of people will not be queueing in early, the website simply won't handle it so you will have a majority of people just stuck on the loading screen for prolonged periods of time.

well, since i finally received my 3080 FTW3 Ultra last friday, and i've got it all set up and there do not appear to be any issues thus far, i'm going to remove my name from the other queues i was in, so hopefully my place in line goes to someone just as worthy! good luck to everyone still waiting for their card! this 3080 is a BEAST! it def runs a little warm though, to be expected i suppose, but man, it is buttery smooth so far. i don't care for the 4 red lights flashing on for a very brief moment upon waking my PC from sleep, but nothing is wrong with the card, it just does that from what i have been able to find. but, yeah, otherwise, an excellent upgrade!!

For NA queues, 2 minutes is probably a week or 2. For EU, 2 minutes is an indefinite period of time, as over 3 months after the 3060 launch it isn't even past minute 1 :D

Given how the 3080 ftws were, Id expect it to be pretty heavy but might be a bit less volume. Most people assuming they aren't just buying it to scalp aren't going to pay almost double their 3080 for a 3080 ti for that 10% performance boost. Your assessment of 1-2 weeks is probably better which waiting 1-2 weeks is still practically nothing. EU is just doomed though, their EVGA presence is non-existent and even some SKUs which are months past now aren't fulfilled past the 1st min.

In case you weren't sure (I saw someone mention this morning that the 3080 Ti wasn't launching until June 4th), here is an update on the upcoming launches of the 3080 Ti and the 3070 Ti: The 3080 Ti queue opens at 6 AM PT on June 3rd and the 3070 Ti opens at 6 AM PT on June 10th for Elite members. Everyone else will be able to queue up beginning on the following day. Hope that helps everyone this morning!

Not sure if maybe people missed that you wanted to know specifically about the step up queue, but I believe you will eligible to sign up for that at the same time as the regular queue opens. You can reach out to EVGA to confirm, but that would be my assumption. Good luck and sorry the 3070 wasn't enough for you!

What games run out of VRam for you? What CPU do you have? Are you at 4K60fps or above for frame rates?

And each of your posts will most probably be flagged as spam by the community. Man I hate those people flooding here since the past couple of weeks just trying to get in line the cheap way and in the same pool of the truck load of people that were here long before them. Like someone suggested previously the amount of posts should be raised to 200-300 to weed out those peeps.

To quote Yogi Berra "nobody goes there anymore, it's too crowded...". Mark it down, EVGA, I am finally going to criticize you... This Elite program is officially a joke. Part of my willingness to promote and defend EVGA's moves is because I truly felt they valued customer loyalty with their programs, not that they have entirely abandoned that, but they definitely have changed the dynamic with elite early access and new elite wheel spin discounts while keeping post-your-way-to-elite. Most of those same people did not give a crap about EVGA and their products until times got tough. Now Elite might as well be an instant sign up perk. Way to "dance with who brung ya" guys. Still love you, still support you and your products, but the ____show that will occur in 2 days is going to be legendary.

Get your elite status by getting to 100 posts using this the three or four word thread. If you wait until the 4th you won't get a card through the queue for months if ever

For me it was always nothing else that a PR move. Everything. The Elite program, the queues, etc. EVGA was always number one for me but not anymore because they showed how completely incompetent they are by creating 20 different SKUs for the same card when it's already a ___ show with the supply, current state of the world pandemic, scalpers, etc. They should have been smarter and only have a handful. What was the point of having tons and tons of SKUs when you had to basically completely abandon production on some of them weeks after release, or spread what little inventory you have across multiple SKUs? And I'm not talking about that shady stuff that probably happened behind closed doors by mass selling to miners and such. So yeah EVGA is just another company now for me.
