If I don’t get the email for the newegg shuffle within 1hr of the notification window opening, did I lose the shuffle? Also: does evga send non-LHR 3080’s to microcenter? I’ve given up on the 3897 queue. It’s been a couple weeks and it’s stuck. If I don’t get a GPU from the microcenter run, my only hope is the 3080ti queue

With the Shuffle, you get an email off the bat and get 2 hours to complete the purchase. This leads me to think they have 3 “rounds” of 2 hours. Emails go out for all the stock round 1, after 2 hours any unclaimed stock goes to round 2 emails, and then so on for round 3. I assume thats why the denial emails are random, they have to wait until the last round last purchase completes. At least, this is my guess, since it is always 6 hour shuffle windows.

I'm assuming this is how it works as well. The two times I've won I got notifications at 5pm EST and 3pm EST respectively, with the shuffle closing entry at 1PM EST typically. Latest rejection emails tend to show up between 9 to 11 pm EST. I'm guessing the two hour gap between shuffle closing at 1pm and notifies at 3pm is to sort out the first round of winners, so 3PM is round one for East Coast US, 5PM starts round 2, 7PM being round 3, and 9-11 PM being any potential left over unanswered notifications for that day being cycled through for one last send before the rejection emails go out when stock is fully depleted.

That would make sense given a 5PM EST Shuffle start time. R1 - 5PM to 7PM R2 - 7PM to 9PM R3 - 9PM to 11PM (or whenever last product is spoken for, could be earlier) After last product is purchased, "sowwy" emails go out. For a 3PM EST start, just subtract 2 hours. I have won about 5-6 times, most were immediate emails, I think 1 was 2 hours in.

Yes, but unclaimed stock is more common for bundles like a 6900XT with a mobo that people signed up for just because they clicked on all the items. The un-bundled EVGA 3070s or 3080s are unlikely to be passed on in the first round by anyone lucky enough to land them. If I didn't get them in the first round, I wouldn't get my hopes up. Also, you don't have to wait for the mail. When the first notification time begins, log in to your newegg account and check your cart. If you were selected, your items will be there. At least that's what I've been told... I have yet to "win" one of these.

Yep, that's how it works when you "win". Items are already in your cart waiting to go. For most items, I would wager 90%+ are bought in round 1. I have passed on 3 things, 2x 5950X and a 6800XT. I am sure by R2, there is only a few items people passed on or missed. By R3, it is bottom of the barrel.

The most movement was on the 3755, moved the most I have seen it for 2 weeks on a row, so it is a bit disappointing but not at all surprising.
