Which is exactly why I said "oh well" :P I'd still buy it. But I'd rather not have to pay the increased price considering the queue just re-opened... although I'd understand from a business perspective.

Heck, I'd register my current psu for elite, but I wasn't planning on doing that until I got into my building of the rig. As for the drops, let's hope that it's solid today and not screwy again.

Yes, I also saw this notice weeks ago :P Either way the SKU did receive a $20 price hike overnight. So unless they plan on hiking it up again on the 15th I think it's good to go for now, hopefully.

maybe your already halfway there? as I interpreted the perquisites for elite status via hardware acquisition; you need to register 2 EVGA ("~'kinda sorta maybe maters which'~")purchased in new condition and be the first to register it/them

Because it is proprietary sales information and if they are publicly traded could be issues.
eNewts work is off publicly available information so no issues.
Interesting thought, but as far as I know, they are not a publically traded company.

The notifies are still stuck in 2020, so a suggestion would be to register for all of the cards within a part type you want (e.g. the 3070) to have better chances of getting any of them. Basically, you, like myself, are probably going to be waiting at least half a year or more before they even get close because of the shortages and pandemic right now.
