Not evga related, but just sharing my experience with my first vaccine shot. Pfizer. Almost three hours later, and my heart rate has been about 120 since 10 minutes after the shot. I feel fine otherwise, but it's wild seeing that almost double and stay there. It'll drop a bit, maybe to 100 or 110, then climb back up. Stay safe, and watch your heart rate after getting the vaccine.

Hydrate static.quai. Same thing happened to me. I had a headache day two like you wouldn't believe and body ache for about 3 days. Like the worst flu I ever got.
Also, it's Saturday - anything posted here is technically spam so whoever is flagging that post needs to find something else to do.

Anybody know why the For Sale or Trade forum doesn't work? I click on any post there and it just goes to the EVGA main page.
Got the Shuffle 3080 delivered yesterday and I was going to post it there to make sure a gamer gets a card. Anyone know a good place to sell to a legit gamer?
I'll buy it off you. I would love to have it for my build. I've been waiting for a card for a while now. I've also been signing up for the shuffles, and have been following Stock Drops on Discord. It's disheartening trying to find a card at normal prices.

I'm glad that's the worst you've gotten. From what I've heard, the second shot is much worse. Of course the severity will vary by person. Unfortunately this is the nature of something so new, we don't data from have years of trials or long-term affects.

Played for a few hours straight, no hick-ups at all. Runs a little warm, 80c gaming at 3440x1440p 100Hz hdr,rtx...etc , gained 20-30fps over 2080s. Really want the argb glow stick on top though, didn't know the back plate logo did the rainbow ++ idling at 61c, seems a bit warm? Seems to be fluctuating, down to 51c now, got to get some Mo fans! So far so good.

I've at least come down to about 100 bpm. I normally sit around 60-65 bpm, but it is slowly coming down. Glad you got through your shots well. And thanks for the offer to help. The extra PSU is just something I picked up a year or so ago. Christmas before covid. I thought about building out a new machine, but decided that if I put together a fourth for myself, my wife might divorce me. That's the silver lining about the queue taking so long. It's like stealth buying.. if I had two gpus show up at once. Ouch.

LOL no. That was from back in the day when I was all OCD about getting everything just right. Cable management, looks (because I can't spell aesthetics......or can I?). I'm still using the case (SilverStone Temjin somethin somethin) Got it powder coated green lol. The folks at the place I took it to where all '****?' when I brought it in. My wife and I caught covid early in JAN 2020. I got somewhat sick. She really suffered badly. She went to hospital 2x. She had a high heart beat from Jan 2020 to May 2020. She went from Jan 2020 to April 2020 with fevers on and off. We found out she had an underlying condition which made things far worse. She had surgery on it in Oct 2020 and is slowly getting better. She still has some lung damage which has improved a lot. We took first shot of Pfizer this tues the 13th and have been sleepy from it. Both of us have sore arms. So my point is waiting for a gpu is good if you compare to getting sick and almost dying. To all good luck with these slo-mo cards. But better luck with the covid.

Glad to hear your wife is doing better. In March last year, my wife and I both got sick. For me it was like a cold, but she was sick for two weeks. There was no testing at the time available where I am, and it never got so bad she had to go to the hospital. So I can't say if it was covid or just some other bug.. but she had something bad. For sure, we lament about GPUs and other things, but health comes first. I've heard that if you have had previous exposure to covid-19, the first shot can be a little worse than if you weren't. Everyone is different though, and I am no doctor. Hope the second shot goes smoothly for you and your wife.

Only good thing about being old, (73). Had both Pfizer shots and no reaction at all to either one. They told me that older people don't seem to have as many reactions as younger people. Of course Monday and Tuesday when I go in for my every three month chemotherapy, that will make up for not having Covid shot reactions. I'm completely exhausted for two or three days after chemo! Of course on Tuesday my EVGA 3090 Hybrid (3988), is due to be delivered. That means I'll have to wait at least until the weekend to install it, and figure out where to put the radiator. I sure wish I could have gotten just the base, vanilla flavor 3090! That's what I was hoping for. At least I've got a couple of good EVGA GTX 1080ti FE's to put up for sale which should cover a good portion of the price of the 3090.

I had to get vaccination paper( in my country of origin) for my immigration process. I went to clinic and doctor told me that she will not give this paper to me until I get vaccine shot( I think they still have plans how many people should be vaccinated). So, I had no choice and I took a vaccine shot( it was years ago, so it not a COVID vaccine). Then they asked me to sit for a little bit in a waiting area. I started to think how vaccines work and then I started to feel myself not very good... the next what I remember - I wake up... but not in my bed... people around me told me what happened: I stood up and fallen right on the floor. My two front tooth got cracked. I probably will not post picture of it  Now it sounds funny, fut at a time... and I never had similar issue before or after it happened.

Just got my first dose yesterday (Pfizer) and felt nothing more than a sore arm thankfully. I heard its the second dose where people feel under the weather.

Fan curve can fix that a little bit, (-2-3*C} but an undervolt is golden to get your temps in real good territory, the default settings are like that on the 3080 FTW3, seems like 80 was the target temp in the one I had
