Crazy that they saved that much and it was only 5% off. I managed to get the 10% off coupon which I'm excited about, but some lucky guy here yesterday got the 30% off coupon.

Yup, I was the lucky one to get the 30%.  Now, if we can just get through another 5 minutes on the 3898 queue I'll be putting that to good use.  :)

I think that's right.  It feels like an announcement on Friday for an Elite early day next week and then general public the next weekday (likely also next week).  That's my gut.  But, then again, my gut was telling me the that the HC KPE delay wouldn't last past Christmas.... 

Sounds like time to get it checked enewt. It started just like that for a friend of mine and then he started forgetting anniversaries, birthdays etc. you know how dangerous it is!

He now lives under a bridge. I try to visit him when I can. 🥸

I think something that's happened over the past year plus is we've just become like locusts.  It's driven largely by a small segment of the population that just buys up everything, and then suddenly realizes they can profit off the void they helped create.  It's followed by people who need things like TP or Lysol or cars or refrigerators or GPUs who are realizing everything is a cluster.  Even on these forums, and I'm going to prod you a little even though I do think you make many positive contributions, there are people like nick_shi who gleefully espouse selling excess items on the open market to pocket some coin.
 
I just don't feel this was ever the point of the EVGA queue.  Yes, people will always justify what they do with items they obtain from this queue, or outright exploit it.  I guess all I am saying is, let's go Bill and Ted and just be kind to each other.  It's not that simple, but we don't have to complicate it.  Yes, I get that someone else will swoop in and make money off you if you try to be kind to each other, but where does it end?  We can't control what others do, but if enough of us are just decent, that will squash some of the exploitation folks.
 
My humble rambling for the evening.  Best of luck to everyone honestly queued for a card they need/want and will use for several years to come.

One argument I have heard from a couple of scalpers here is that if they don't scalp, someone else will buy the item from them and turn around and scalp it. While that may or may not be true depending on who hits the BUY button first, what they do with the item is not YOUR problem. If they scalp it, more bad karma for them. That's what you call a race to the bottom and I won't participate in that sort of thing.
 
Do people right. Don't screw them over. I have put these words into practice throughout my life and have reaped the benefits over and over again.

It's good to finally see the hybrids move, albeit the equivalent of a few inches. There is a 9:05:59 that reported back for the 3898 in the hybrid sheet, so I will just call it 9:06. That puts me about 164 seconds away in the queue which puts me in the next 3-4 drops if everything stays the same. 
 
I just hope that we don't have to wait another 6 weeks between drops. A few seconds of movement is better than no movement at all.

Yeah 6 weeks is a long time to wait between drops when the drops are as small as this one seemed to be. The drop we had before this one seemed to be much bigger, so hopefully we go back to that for the next one. I'm 28 seconds out so I should get mine with the next drop! Hopefully the drops start coming quicker for everyone.
