I think we can all agree that if YOU were the one who waited 7 months for the email and then you missed it for whatever reason (aggressive junk folder, broken phone, business trip to nointernetastan, angry spouse, etc) - you would ABSOLUTELY want to reclaim your lost spot.  

100% agreed, my point/observation was that, given all the things people have issue with here, seems everyone is OK with letting people back into the line.  I am actually impressed.  I did not mean to strike a nerve, only to encourage some interesting conversation, which apparently I did LOL.
 
I have been around since October here, responding on page 3 and praising EVGA for doing the right thing.  That hasn't stopped.  This is about cards and queues, not me throwing out ideas that turn into arguments.  Best of luck yall.  And enewt deserves the associate code bonuses, he has been Mr. Queue since day 1, about 30 mins before I first posted :D

It is not what you said. You said "since it slows down the queues". I really want to get into the details of how if you are waiting in line with 100 people, and 10 people step out and then back in to queue, the line moves slower for the person at the end.

It's really surprising more people do not use your associate code, you are such a joy.  And the practice of letting people back in once they are out slows it down...

3080 hybrid has arrived, and it is a monster lol, i MAY have to mount the rad below the card, i know it hurts performance but i just wont go hard on the overclocking

Aside from performance, I'm not 100% about the pump and layout of the Hybrid cards, but in a CPU AIO (for example), you don't want to mount the radiator at the bottom because the air pocket collects at the highest point of the loop (this would cause it to be the pump) which will cause damage and issue over time. From noise during operation to pump failure from running dry, it's generally worst practice to put your radiator at the bottom. But if the Hybrid cards work differently, someone please correct me.

You really don't want to mount the rad below that GPU.  A decent case is $80.  A great case is $160.

If they don't, tell them they have to go join one of 3080 queues.  Wow, the possibility of using the queue system as a timeout had never occurred to me before now.  I actually think it's kind of brilliant.
