Ok, so my system was working completely fine after 3.8 ghz over clock, ran perfectly 5 hours prime95. Then i went into evga e-leet and just lowered all the voltages to a great amount and clicked apply, and the cpu seemed to work.  After powering my cpu off, i try turning it back on and i hear no beep, no display, and a FF post code.
So i do the usual and remove cmos battery and put it back in, Still FF. then i use the cmos reset button, still FF.  i even try replugging the cpu power connector, but now NOTHING POSTS. no FF code.

I seriously don't know what to do guys.  I am not under warranty, cause i am the idiot who didn't register, and this was nearly a 400 dollar motherboard. I really can't afford for it too poop out like this.

Any Suggestions?

I am willing to pay for anyone who gives me the suggestion that fixes it. Please i would deeply appreciate this.

OK back to basics. First of all I'm moving this to the X58 section so you'll get more responses. Remove the CMOS battery and remove power from the wall socket to the PSU. Unplug every single cable going to the motherboard. Remove all of the memory except for one stick. Reset the CMOS. Wait 15 minutes. Plug all the cables back in but leave all the memory out except one stick. Reconnect power to the wall socket and attempt to turn the power on again.

It could be your PSU.  Why do I think that?  Because you described symtoms that have radily degraded such as first no posting and stuck at FF and now not even a FF.  One of your plug pins on the Mboard power plug could have shorted out.  Do you have another PSU you can try?

No i do not have another psu i can try, but when i turn on my comp, everything, all the fans turn on and stuff, like everything works, so..... is that mean my psu is fine. i don't really understand the whole psu gone bad thing.   ok, i will try the whole re-plugging the computer. is this going to fix it as it was a case of a low voltage over clock not really a issue with wiring. but i will do as you say.
How can i absolutely confirm its my psi that went bad.

The best way to find out if it's a PSU problem is to borrow one and try it.

Just because your fans work means nothing. A bad PSU can mimic all sorts of things.  I had a bad PSU and thought it was a software problem.  rjohnson is correct that the best way is to try a new one.  It may be worth buying one locally at a store that has a good return policy (check beforehand) or ask around and see if you find a friend or co worker with one.
Also it will help us immensly if you can post ALL the parts of your rig.

You can try the "paper clip test" to see if your PSU is bad but if it passes that does not always mean the PSU is fine.  If it fails you know for sure your PSU is bad.  Try the link I have below.
    http://www.google.com/#hl=en&sugexp=les%3Bpchsnhe&gs_nf=3&cp=7&gs_id=q&xhr=t&q=psu+paperclip+test&pf=p&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&rlz=1R2GZAG_enUS442&oq=psu+pap&gs_l=&pbx=1&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_qf.&fp=d3ddaee4ee84f1b4&bpcl=35466521&biw=1207&bih=585

There are several videos that will explain it.  If is is bad, there is a good chance that is still under warranty since many PSUs are warranted for 4-7 years.

    Good luck

You can get a PSU tester, (Antec makes one), and test your PSU that way. I think they cost 20-30 $.

As suggested, disconnect everything, reset cmos or switch to another bios, (assuming you have bios select on your motherboard), and reset cmos.

One stick of Ram in the slot indicated by your manual, connect motherboard and cpu power only, and PCIe to your gpu, (just one), then power up and try to boot.

Don't connect or install any additional hardware, including hard drives, just the basic requirements to verify boot and post codes.

Post your results back here if needed. If same result, recommend new PSU or test with PSU, or test PSU if able. Whichever is easiest and easily available.

Chances are, you don't want to buy a new PSU only to find out that isn't the problem. PSU tester is always useful so you might want to think about getting one of those.

ok guys, i did the new psu thing, and i put it outside the rig on cardboard and connected only cpu and mobo, and it posts FF. what do i do. honestly this is beyond frustrating. Back to FF. great..... guys be honest and hit me straight, is this likely a motherboard problem or processor issue. cause if its processor, i can RMA it with intel got 2-3 weeks left on 3 year warranty. i just need to rule it out between processor and motherboard.
i think the psu is fine.

if we are dealing with motherboard issue, i abandon the platform and go for ivy bridge or even piledriver, cause intel is pissing me off at this moment, this set up cost 700 dollars and 3 years later this crap......  By the way if i do RMA i7 920. can i sell whatever i get from the RMA as "NEW" on ebay, get a little cash for it and make the dive to ivy?

Guys, if you want a i7 920 to be RMA'd, could i request them for a equally made processor...... like an ivy bridge? i5-3570k???? perhaps..... i don't know. i am not sitting here while intel sends me a new processor, my mate has a ivy bridge laying around, so might as well get a mother board. and then hopefully intel will send me i5-3570k. Heck i don't mind paying 40 dollars-ish extra...... 50 even. just wanna know it can be done or not?

Power off - then push the bios reset button on back (little red button) and hold it for a second or 2.
Turn on  and hold delete button to get to bios and reset all your settings.
Don't go so low on volts this time ok

How can nobody be helping you when you just said they were by giving you suggestions? Remove the 24 pin power connector from the board. Take out the CMOS battery and leave it out for 30 minutes. When you remove the battery, press and hold the red CMOS reset button for 30 seconds. After 30 minutes, put the battery back in and try to restart the system, with just the OS HD, one stick of memory in the SECOND memory slot from the CPU and the GPU.

This thread has been cleaned up for language. Keep in mind the EVGA forum ToS. This is also a forum, not live support, so replies are not instantaneous. If you would like live 1-on-1 support call EVGA's 24/7 support line: http://www.evga.com/support/

I also recommend trying what HeavyHemi said. Most likely it is a RAM issue where the RAM voltage is set too low for it to POST. Using one stick of RAM may help the system boot after a CMOS clear.

Also, this is from personal experience both on our test systems AND on my personal X58.  And I will preface this with YES, I am aware this is NOT what Intel says, but try 1 stick of RAM in the slot FARTHEST from the CPU.  This sounds like vcore/vtt/vdimm something in there is arguing, and from my own trials with these and intentionally breaking things to learn fixes, I have seen when a X58 wont respond from other means, 1 stick in the slot FARTHEST can get it to work when nothing else can.

well i will try that..... but there is no chance that my cpu went bad right?

There is a chance but it is pretty rare and lowering your voltages isn't going to damage the CPU.

If taking the board out and hooking up only the CPU, Mobo, GPU, and PSU does not post you, I would RMA the Mobo, and PSU. Just because a PSU turns on does not mean it works.

Case - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X
    Mobo - EVGA X570 FTW
    CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900X

You could always try a cheap x58 chipset board and see if it posts ..

If it posts, you know it's your board
if NOT, you know it's the cpu

Well you can prob get a decent price for your CPU on e-bay, maybe that's what you meant my "sell." And if you never need to run SLI/Xfire (i.e. one gfx card), and don't need 8 memory slots, go for Z77 IMHO!

    Main (gaming) rig: i7-3930K; Asus Rampage IV Extreme; H100 W/p-p Excaliburs, AS5; MSI 7870 2GD5/OC; Crucial M4 SSD 256GB.
See my primary ModsRigs: Adam for the rest, and I have a second (wife's) rig Asus Rampage III Extreme & 960: Eve.

oh i definitely want to run crossfire/sli. i never upgrade graphics cards, i just buy and add them on to existing graphics cards. its the way i roll.

Then you should either stick W/X58, or upgrade to X79 IMHO. Although you will get just slightly lower performance W/SLI and Z77, you might not even be able to tell the difference. So it is not a clear-cut decision. But personally, my exp W/hexacore is awesome!

The X79 is also great but if you don't have any high bandwidth apps, extreme gaming, or extreme overclocking then you can opt for the Z77.
