I'm going to go back to Zotac for my next pascal card. Had great luck with them in the past and EVGA doesn't care about their customers anymore in my opinion and Zotac holds a good warranty and likely be a bit cheaper as well.


Are you saying that because of the thread you posted in EGC?

May I ask, what servers do you play on Zotac? What giveaways do they do over at Zotac to where you play on their servers? Your basing your hardware decisions on a
game that you are playing in an attempt to win free hardware. Are you going to join the next event in an attempt to win free evga hardware after switching to ZOTAC?

Also, like BCav said... This post was dormant for 6 years before you revived it. LoL.

This is exactly why Scarlet. You are driving loyal EVGA customers from the brand by singling them out... EVGA should just stick with making hardware vs. relying on admins who single people out. Pretty sure the main reason I was kicked was because I owned an EVGA admin camping in the spawn with the MAA gun a few times with C4 jeep.... I did not know squad chat with my friend was considered public and warrants a ban. Not like I was doing all chat just squad... but it doesn't matter. point is I have an old Zotac GXT 470 in my wifes computer and she has had great luck with it so I'll likely go back with my next card.

You know 100000% exactly why you were kicked, and it had nothing to do with your game play. You weren't singled out, you were kicked after being warned and banned from not 1 but now a second event for language. If you play the game and stay off the chat, you won't get "singled out."

If people didn't attempt to find ways around every filter in the world, or just openly break the rules, there would be no reason for an admin in the servers.

Chat is chat. Squad chat is still chat and shows in procon's. When you are told to stop something repeatedly, stop. Get in your own ts, and use your voice instead of using the game chat.

Did you even read a suggestion i made? two servers one for R one for PG?... oh that's right you guys don't give a crap about me other the other people reporting this issue.

Pretty sure your own admin was doing this with the MAA the whole game.. so he should be banned for 2 weeks? I mean honestly.... how can you enforce some but not other rules...
 
This just further proves my point... I guess you need to come up with new rules for the next event ranking them in order of severity....
 
Staying in spawn during a game is not allowed
  1. Example: Using a vehicle and firing from inside the base.

First, these posts are far off topic for this 6 yesr old thread. One of the EVGA techs has unlocked your threads in the EGC section, so these will be more suited for there in the future.

Second, I have requested a hardcore server as well, as I dislike regular servers.

Third, I do not represent the EGC section in any way shape or form. I am not an admin and I rarely play on the evga server since I prefer hardcore. I usually jump on to play with a few people that are always on there, like Gomer and Pazuzu and such. I do not make up or adjust the EGC rules in any way shape or form, nor do I have a say in how a company runs their server.

My suggestion for voice comms over a private TS stands. That TS would not be run by evga and would allow you the freedom to say what you would like.


Lastly, if an admin is breaking the rules, report the issue. Saying "an admin" doesn't specify who it was. If it continues, submit the report to egc@evga.com and it will be looked into. Just like the crouching issue that was brought up by Artic, evga will take the steps necessary to correct the issue.
