The driver version I downloaded from the EVGA website was supposed to be the correct one for the 600 series, according to that page. As you can see from my original post, the version appears to be 310.40.45f01. The CUDA version I downloaded was the latest, according to the "Update" function of my "CUDA Preference Pane" in "System Preferences." If the version you cite contains CUDA and is the latest, will it work with a GT 610? If so, why was it not listed on the EVGA website for the 600 series of graphics cards?
In any case, this GT 610 (when working) never exceeded a frame rate of 9.5 fps on "Heaven," whereas my Intel on-board graphics (HD4600) results in a value of 12.3 fps. So trying to find a proper driver once again for the GT 610 would seem to be a poor way to spend my time. I removed the card from my computer and will continue to use the Intel integrated graphics.
Thanks for your time and for your link!
