Z270 Classified K -
Nice to see the Creative Core 3D Audio... the Realtek is complete crap, imo.
Marvell Controller for 4 of the 8 SATA-III ports.. boo. Will be turning that off.
2 x M.2 Key M SSD.. nice. That will almost certainly negate the need for those Marvell ports for most of us. Nice.
U.2 port if you need the higher capacity at high speed. *shrug* not an issue for me.
USB Type C... ok.. umm.. and the 'older' USB ports? I hope there will still be a couple of original native USB 2.0 ports for the keyboard/mouse so there's not the USB 3.0 'paradox' where you can't install the USB 3.0 drivers without a keyboard/mouse, but you can't use a keyboard/mouse without the USB 3.0 drivers to make the ports work... lol.

lol.. there are 2 LAN ports - one Intel, one Killer... and this is on the motherboard, not the CPU, so not sure how AMD's Ryzen has anything to do with it whatsoever.

And ... ?! I am looking for a mainboard with two ethernet ports from the same manufacturer. (nic teaming)
And who do you think creates the mainboard? The third party designer(asus, asrock etc.) gets the reference layout from AMD.

I actually think AMD contracts out the envelope board design to Foxconn or something... Intel might do the same... You can wait for Ryzen, but don't be surprised when its empty like the previous promises from AMD

I am really open minded about my future build, my workstation with intel/nvidia died some days ago and i'm searching for new stuff.
It will include a custom watercooling loop in a black/red theme, so AMD with ryzen and vega would perfectly fit into this case.
But hey, maybe it will be a intel 6 or 8 core cpu with an evga gtx 1080ti ... which is also round the corner.
We will see tomorrow.

Yeah. I'm waiting to see what the early adopters have to say.  I stopped being an early adopter years ago. Now I'll sit back and wait on reviews and then decide.

I am upgrading my HTPC - and im seriously considering waiting for the Stinger to become available. But as I am using a Streacom Pico-PSU with only a 4-pin EPS/CPU power cable I am uncertain if it will be up to the task. I will not overclock or use any PCI-E card. Anyone know if my 4-pin PSU will deliver enough power? It use to be ok on motherboards/cpu's 3-4 years ago - but not sure if this is still the case on Z270 boards.

IF your doing video rendering than it might make a difference.  If game playing, most games don't make use of SLI.   The newer 10 series are so much more powerful, there really isn't a dire need to SLI now like with the older series gpu's.  You can set most of the 10 series to max without seeing much lag or frame rate drop.

Will we see EVGA Classified 4way SLi Z270 motherboards or will Classified K be top of the line motherboard for evga for Z270 lineup.

No plans for a Z270 4-way board.

How about a AIO cooler for the Titan XP?

The "just as i thought" was just about my hunch that we probably wouldn't see 4 way SLI motherboard (not that it's a bad thing).
