Hi All - I was wondering if you could help me with a basic query?

I bought this power supply for a custom server project (because of the dual CPU eps connectors actually.)
My server project has 3x Icydock HDD bays that have 3 standard Molex connectors on them each. Using the cables supplied with the PSU I only get 5x molex connections to power these drive bays.
I have other cables from other new modular power supplies that weren't used but the pinout on the PSU-side plug is incorrect. Plugging these cables in renders the server unable to poweron because the PSU is held in short. Removing the cables and draining the PSU of any residual electricity resets the PSU just fine. So it's definitely a pinout issue.

I am happy to re-pin a cable or two but the problem is that the Supernova G2 has all black wiring (See photo)

I have the appropriate tools at hand to perform this task - and I'm actually a Server technician by Trade so this isn't above me. Just tripped up on the black cabling :(

Can you help?

    Welcome to the forums.

You could check the pinout voltages on the PSU end with a multimeter and rearrange the pins as necessary so that the voltages on the component end are correct..Not a chore..COM terminals are all ground..Molex and other industry standard component end pinouts here..You can pick up an el cheapo multimeter for about 10 bones if needed..You can buy Molex Y-splitter cables as another option too..Mainstream/Non-proprietary PSUs have industry standard component end pinout as specified by Intel, but the PSU end can be different, but you found that out already..Hard to tell when you'll get a reply from EVGA, probably be soon though..Just my input in the meantime.

Hey Bob - and thanks for your help.
Yeah I could probe the power supply buuuut that means I'm susceptible to screwing up. I was hoping to get some official EVGA documentation on this so that nothing is left to chance.
This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't live in New Zealand as the amount of parts and variety of computer parts we get / have on hand is dismal to say the least and simply getting some more cables for the Supernova G2 would not be possible in this country.
