Will this deal be available tomorrow?  I'm debating it - but the inability for cross shipping is killer.  I don't want to be without PC gaming for a couple of days.

No. EVGA has that right in the terms and conditions, as well as answering this question a couple of times.

It was answered on the very first page of mobile browser, right above the reply box lol. You didn’t actually have to dig at all.

Unfortunately not possible.

My next question would be, can people use an associate code for extra savings?

It's actually not just silly.  It's really asinine.  "No exceptions" explicitly posted in the ToS.

I'm sorry but, in my opinion, this offer blows.  I'm seriously contemplating AMD as a viable alternative.....

LOL ORLY? and how much are AMD offering you for your old used GPU?

Is the pricing shown on the drop-down menu the price we pay (before taxes, fees, etc)? For my 780 Ti, the trade in price seems to be $100, but the discount seems to hover around the $80 range. Specifically, with the RTX 2070 (08G-P4-2070-KR), where the trade-in tool shows $449, but the product page lists $529.

eVGA FTW!

If i am not mistaken, the drop down shows $449 as the exclusive trade in price.

Then subtract... or add... the discount from the trade in card, in your case the 780ti for $100.

Total, that would be $180 off before taxes and fees.

EVGA can not guess which card is being trade in tier is shown, so they can not add the trade in price until you get to that point.

The trade in amount is the second “discount.”

Insulting...  I paid a lot of money for my 980ti almost 5 years ago.  I was waiting for the 20xx gen to upgrade but Nvidia has almost doubled the price from then to now.  In what world would I trade my Ti class card for a lesser class card for a mere $150?  Also, I don't have a card in the mean time?!  I just want to say that I've had the money to upgrade my PC for about a year now and am intentionally boycotting this gen of cards due to the outrageous price hike.  Not EVGA's fault I know but this program is the insult in "adding insult to injury".

I understand the disappointment of not having the ti models, but I don't think most of the people here actually looked at the pricing. Sure the credit is only $100-150, but the prices they are discounting from are pretty low. For instance they have the RTX 2080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming at $700 so with my trade in credit of $150 it drops to $550 vs their price online of $870. A steal compared to what it normally goes for, and I do not have to mess with the Craigslist/Ebay BS. I think it is a solid deal. This is the opportunity I have been looking for to upgrade. Not sure why you would look at AMD with prices this good considering even the 2080 beats AMD's top card, and won't do much in the way of G-sync or Ray Tracing (Even if it is fringe).

Agreed, additionally if you purchased an extended warranty on your 980 Ti like I did (adding the 10 year warranty) it would carry over to this without any extra payment. So I'd be getting something like 3 extra years of warranty on the 20 series card without any extra money out of pocket. Reading that in the fine print gave me a lot of respect for EVGA.

I don't know if I'll jump on this deal yet (mainly as my 980 Ti is in my wife's PC and I have a 1080 Ti and the 2080 Ti isn't included in the deal), but this is a solid good deal from EVGA and I hope this is something we'll see a bit more of honestly.

A good all around deal that doesn't go out of the way to find ways to punish their customers and rewards loyalty to the brand.

I understand the complaints about needing to send in your old card first and the like, but for something like this it makes sense. I think if they shipped the cards first they might have too much of a mess to deal with as getting the 20 series card back if it all goes lopsided would be tricky and I don't think people would want to pay full price nor more shipping charges (like shipping the 20 series back to EVGA and then them shipping yours back to you and the insurance on both sides)...

I doubt it, even for a RMA the card has to be brought back to original condition.
Thinking about sending in my 980ti, but I put the hybrid kit on it and I know I would have to remove it.
Guess I could sell the kit for a few bucks. Have to think it over.

I see 980ti selling for 170$ or so on some forum for sale sections, so 150 is not too far off considering the fees on ebay/paypal

Hi Jacob, My GTX 700 card has rust on the heat pipes just from normal use living in a humid location.  Otherwise, it works perfectly still.  Would it be eligable for this trade in?

Sadly, if it has rust or corrosion it would not be eligible for the upgrade program. The old card you send to us still needs to be in a condition that is acceptable under our warranty terms.

Can any Canadians confirm if upgraded cards were charged import duties, and if so, how much? As per the Terms and Conditions: "All Upgrade prices are subject to taxes, duties, and other related fees." If they are being shipped from Canada there would be of course no duties, but I don't want to go spend thousands without knowing (have four cards to upgrade, all 980s) and then find I owe hundreds more in duties that would make them more expensive than just buying the 2080s outright from NewEgg or Canada Computers and hawking the old ones on Kijiji.

Thanks for any assistance.

Edit: Can anyone confirm if it's handled as an RMA? I've had plenty of eVGA RMAs to California and back without any duties.

Thanks. You are correct. I went for a RTX 2070 blower (too bad the 2080 blower wasn't available), trading in a GTX 780Ti I had long retired (working in an unused desktop). $380ish after tax.

The upgrade is subject to any duties. Only warranty replacements should not be subject to Canadian duties. Since you would be paying for a new-in-box product then it would be marked as a sale. As for how much the duties might be, we would not be able to say beforehand as that is all up to customs officials.

Thanks... strange that as eVGA products are sold in many Canadian stores (heck even Wal-Mart has them) that they would not be shipped from eVGA Canada to avoid the duties then. I appreciate the answer!

We do not have any offices in Canada. All of the 20th Anniversary Upgrades would only be able to ship from our warehouse in California.

That's not possible because you're taking stock from your authorized seller.  That's like EVGA telling Bestbuy to hold up and send them some GPUs from their stores because the EVGA store ran out of stock.  I don't think that is possible and completely irrelevant to a authorized retailer.

FYI I checked on the Canadian Duty and Taxes Estimator ( h ttp s : // www. cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/travel-voyage/dte-acl/est-cal-eng.html ) and it's 13%, so this means there is no "duty" per se (which makes sense as computer hardware was exempted by NAFTA) but just our Harmonized Sales Tax (HST). So it's seems that it's still worthwhile for Canadians to upgrade.

quick question about this line (Note: Refunds are not available for Upgrades at any time or for any reason) I've never done an upgrade before so bare with me for a minute, does this mean that if I pay out for the upgrade and my upgrade is rejected for what ever reason that I paid out $600 and will not get that back or would I receive a refund because the upgrade couldn't be completed? another question I have is my card was over heating badly I.E. was reaching 68c under 100% load so, I replaced the thermal compound with IC-Diamond 24ct. would this be cause for rejection?

What do you mean rejected?  Your old card you'll be using to upgrade?  If they reject the GPU you gave, I'm sure they'd decline the upgrade and no funds would be taken or at least refunded.

Is there something wrong with the GPU?  Not working?  (I'm not even sure if the GPU has to be in working order but I assume it has to in order for the upgrade to work unless I'm corrected on this.)

What GPU are we talking about and those temps are not bad no matter what GPU you have.

Also replacing the TIM (Thermal Paste) doesn't void your warranty as it's allowed.
