Way too big for a card I would want. Hope EVGA makes a RTX 3090 Ti XC3 Hydro Copper version. I do like where the power plug is.

The EVGA seems to have the worse thermal design. The other two have cutouts on their back.

These 3090 Ti’s look like VCRs. It seems the need to cool this many watts leaves no other choice but a giant cooler. Can’t wait to see the 5 slot cards in a few generations which will not fit in an ITX or MATX build.

    what the heavens is that??

    triple slot coolers??  3 slots?

jezzazzz!!   how much does that thing weights???
and how safe it will be on vertical motherboard mouting?
it will break the PCi-e slot on the MOBO or bend downwards to the floor on the far end of the gfx card ( my 1080 TI bends a tiny but safe bit and it has a backplate so..)

this card definitely needs watercooling.. OR a stable special mounting on a horizontal mobo or something.

Hopefully there will be a HC version.  If I decide to purchase, I see a re-plumbing job in my future.

looks about the same to me. both are ~3.5-4 slots thickness.

the only thing I want to know is if it's 24x1GB modules (front and back side) like the 3090

    or if it's 12x2GB modules.

if the later, that alone could help justify it's existence. front-side only config would be much better for VRAM cooling. the cooling (and extra power consumption) of the backside memory modules is the biggest problem with the 3090.

All reports I have read is the all the memory is on the same side of the pcb and the gpu. That's why I'm interested in this card.

I think that will be good news in the thermal department.

Now if they can fix their cooling plates for the Hybrids, that would be great as I recall someone made a custom one and saw thermal improvements.

If we are moving towards 600watt cards, I think the only option for "normal" operating temperatures is an AIO or a waterblock.

If you are going to go air with these, you better be ready for 80C+ temps as the norm. You can only make heatsinks so big before it starts getting ridiculous for both physical size and temps.

    did you read my SIG?

bought a 1080 Ti in March 2019 and no support bracket in the box!
so..  is that a basic entry performance gfx card to you?
i don't have a clue about what you are talking about!

    as for the 3090 Ti...
these things need an AIO Loop like said previously! its getting ridiculous! just look at the size of this cooler plus the vents!
3 and HALF slots occupied?? whats next?  5 slots?  forget aircooling.... this needs WC
