Hi all, I am having a fan-related issue with a brand new GPU. One of the fans will spin at system startup and the other remains stationary. I have installed the Precision X1 software and attempted to test both fans. Fan 2 responds according to manual power input. Fan 1 is recognized and is supposedly given power by the utility but does not read as spinning and is not spinning upon inspection. I have attempted to lightly tap the fan in question in case there was any blockage. I have also removed the card and the EVGA G3 750 PSU VGA cables and reinstalled the card; the issue remains. Any troubleshooting tips would be greatly appreciated!

Inspect the card, and make sure all the fan cables are fully seated to the pcb fan headers.

This is what it looks like: There doesn't seem to be a disconnect that's visible. Should I be looking elsewhere on the card? These are all near the front of the card.

https ://imgur.com/5np1shA It looks seated; I gave it a pressdown just to be sure, but it did not move from the pictured position. Edit: I should also note that I attempted to install the card into the lower PCI-E slot, with the same result.

Download msi afterburner, and see if setting the fans to 50% speed will cause both to spin.
