I'm new to PC gaming. Looking at building a PC. I am still trying to figure out this Queue 3.0 system. Wish me luck!

Wishing you luck would be futile and a waste of time/energy.  Nobody can figure out the new system because EVGA refuses to say how exactly it works.

It would've been far better if they had just scrapped the entire thing altogether.  At least that way I would've still had some respect for them.

Their next move might as well be to pull a Newegg and start bundling crap that nobody wants together with their video cards.

It does appear with the Queue 3.0 the queue time is almost irrelevant. Have you seen the DIY configurator? That does seem to be the only way to get a card right now without trying to figure out the Queue 3.0 system..

Hello there. Another newbie here.

I can see no "notify me" button anywhere on the site, what am I missing?

Also I tried the DIY configurator, added some stuff and tried to buy them. It seems to be only for US and Canada? It did not allow me to enter an EU address.

Well, it seems to be only for US and Canada. The configurator does not exist at the EU site.

Should I be mad that I deleted one of my 3080 2.0 queues that looks to be dead, but can't queue for anything more likely to be produced? Yet I can buy a a 3070ti or 3080ti thru the configurator if I bundle it with a bunch of stuff I don't need/want? Kinda defeats the whole purpose of the queue system doesn't it?

Whelp, since I'm not a social person on the internet I can safely say I will never be able to buy a GPU from EVGA, because I lack the points. I'm not an active forum guy anywhere on the internet. I just want to buy a card to crawl back to my cave and play video games with my son again.

Also, being a not-so-smart guy, I never understood these lists. So please, help me out here.

I have this as my only "true" labeled card, but I never used the forums. Please help me understand this system.

Date being the date you entered the queue.

The model number being the specific graphics card you queued up for.

Time of day you registered for the queue.

The “No,” means you haven’t been notified the card has come in stock and emailed a purchase link.

The “True,” means you are actively waiting in queue.

That part I DID actually understand. What I don't understand is the part where I put myself on a list to be notified, but will actually not be notified, because I'm not listed on some queue forum post with 1.0, 2.0 or 3.0. Then there's the point system making newcomers to EVGA bottom dwelling second rank customers...

So my understanding now is that my chances of getting a GPU is 0,01%?

If you are on the list for the 3667, then you are in the earlier queues not 3.0.  The only thing that matters in the early queues is the date and time you signed up.  Since you are in the EU queue, don't go by the NA queue movement as they don't correlate.

Is the queue going to open up anytime soon? I can't even get on the product page to even see items (keep getting the Oops, something broke) page, but back when I could see the products, nothing had the Queue available to even enter into.

I think only the 3553 queue is currently open for new reservations.  Nobody outside of EVGA knows if/when they will reopen the other queues for additional registrations, but it likely won't occur (at least for the Queue 2.1 skus) until EVGA has sent "invite to purchase" emails to all current queue registrants.

Mmm, that's a pretty unfortunate, would love to make a GPU purchase without handing money to scalpers, like it's so wild that this is a legitimate problem right now.

Try the configuration tool to get one from evga direct but it's bundled with PSU and peripheral

You are preaching to the choir. But like others have said - lots of non-scalper options exist. You just aren't going to find a lone GPU "in the wild" as they say without queues, shuffles, etc.

Alright, thanks. Good to know it isn't just me. I can wait a while anyway. I have a 3090 in one of my systems and a 2080 Ti in the other. Was hoping to upgrade the 2080 Ti to a 3080, but it really isn't even needed at 2560x1440.

The only sku currently accepting registrations for its queue is the 3553 (3050 Gaming). The other queues are locked with no ETA as to when they will open up.

this new 3.0 queue is perfect Lee.....  nice adjustments!  this is pretty much what many of us have been asking for.

No,  this queue is not perfect. eVga you want to give something to your loyal customers, then give them discounts off the msrp. Right now you are acting like the door person at a night club. The prettiest, or the one who spends the most gets through the door before the non important people. Sorry, we are all important, but now you want people to compete? Most of the people who come to eVga web site are here to buy a product. If they wanted to compete they would play a sport, or something. A lot of people do not live in these forums. Some are lurkers due to the toxicity in forums, they chose not to post, or just have nothing to say.  A small percentage do folding. There was nothing wrong with the old system, everyone had a chance, first come first serve, with a limit of two cards in que, then after that you want more you sign back up. Verify that people are who they claim to be. I purchased my share of products in the past, recently, and coming up in que for another product. Do better eVga.

I see people replying here with thousands of posts and less than 10 ribbons.  Either these guys are doing it wrong or participation rewards around here are a fantasy.  For now gonna skip this generation and see if this lunatic market returns to normal.  TSMC is working on adding fab capacity, so maybe 2-3 years best case.

I understand EVGA supporting their better customers. My only problem is that I see posts on reddit's hardwareswap daily from people saying something like "brand new in box EVGA XXXX, got from queue yesterday." There are also a bunch of similar posts for the B-Stock GPU's. It's a bit sad because it feels like some of the people in the queue are just there to scalp.

Is that true for US site only? I'm on EU site and I see not a single card (not even 3050) with ability to Auto-notify.

They have been here since the beginning of the shortage and it shouldn't be a surprise.  They will be with us until things return to normal and they will move on to another commodity in short supply.
