I put my gpus back in slot 1 and 3 due to heat issues. Should I go with the 2/3way bridge?

I would grab the 2/3 way for 2 way.  I think I am going to do that as well after taking look at the pictures of the SLI connectors.  The 2 way display looks a bit different compared to the other connectors.

So the 2/3 SLI would work with three titan hydro coppers in slots 1,3,5 yes?
It didn't specifically state dual slot cards and I hate to take one and have someone else not get one because they sold out.
Having this bridge would really tie the room together, man.

Which bridge should I get if I'm doing dual SLI with a 3 slot width card like the Inno3d iChill series? Thanks

None of the EVGA Pro Sli Bridges support SLI with 3 slot cards side-by-side.

Unless EVGA makes a bridge for people who want to have cards is slot 1 and 4
That would give people with 2 slot cards, 1 slot of space and give people with 3 slot cards a bridge that would do side-by-side.
If you want a Bridge with 1 slot of space between two 3 slot cards then you would want the 3 way bridge.

The 2way bridge is for cards in slot 1-3 or 2-4
The 3way bridge is for cards in slot 1-3-5 or 2-4-6 or 1-5 or 2-6

Man I don't even have SLI right now and yet I still bought a 2/3 way bridge.  Thanks a lot EVGA; making something really cool that I have to buy, even though I can't use it yet.

As a Sabertooth Z77 owner, lack of a wider spacing bridge makes me a sad panda. Pretty short sighted for EVGA not to release a bridge that supports that length, isn't it? That spacing's a huge part of the market.

Thanks for a true clarification of how the SLI cards lay out.
I was still confusing to me with the 2/3 dual or non dual slot.
Appreciated!

Any estimate on how long it'll take to get more 2-way bridges in stock? I had been following the thread but by the time I checked around lunch it was already sold out. I have a uATX mobo with 1-3 spacing so it's perfect - can't wait to get one :D

I'm in the same boat, I ordered the 2/3 bridge anyway, and will plug it in when it comes. I'll add the SLI 770 when they restock the 3771.

Would be nice if they made a 2 way bridge that it double width and works for 2 cards with 1 slot in-between.

Seeing this request a lot, will look into it.

+1

More people using 1+4 than 1+3 so there is demand for these bridges...
And double width will be nice too! :]

I really need one that is for dual cards with one slot in between. i think the spacing is 60mm. I found that may X79 boards have this setup probably for better cooling with 2 cards.

I cant use this pro bridge

because it forces the interval of the 4 cards more tight

unless I dispart these 4 back-plates , or the OTES fan wont work well with cold air

Man... bummer about no support for what I consider standard two card spacing (one slot of space in between two dual slot cards, i.e. slots 1 and 4 or 2 and 5).

This bridge would look awesome with my pair of ACX 780s... EVGA can we pretty please have a 2 slot bridge for slot 1+4 spacing instead of 1+3/1+5? If yes, shut up and take my money!!!

Jesus man how hot does your room get with 4 of those cards running? Do you even need to have heat on in your house in the winter if you leave your PC on lol

In the EVGA 780i I have the 1st and 3rd green slots used for SLI, will the 2 way work? I am running running 2 560SCs.

For this board the top and bottom PCIe slots are used so the 2-way bridge will be too short.  It is only for cards right next to each-other.

It is not recommended to use a bridge without all of the connections filled and we would not be able to guarantee if it will work with only cards at the two ends of the bridge.

Erm then why is your site saying the 3 way can be used for 2way with two space in between?

Double checked with Product Management and the 3-way will work for 2-way.  In general Nvidia does not recommend it however this one we do recommended.
