Really bad stability problems/artifacts with this new Prec X. Looks like there was no testing before they released this version. Did anybody from EVGA actually try to Overclock a GTX 780 Ti with this ? That's a serious question....

Fan curve issue remains as mentioned above, but I also found that you can't enable/disable items to monitor with the PrecX interface on an aux. display.  I found I have to move the program to my main display, make changes, then move it back to my secondary display.

I have steam as well but i downloaded the Precision X 15 5.0 directly from EVGA and no complains all Bf3 BF4 and crysis without issues..

The question would be: can you use custom fan profiles and do they work properly? If you're just just running Precision and not using it to change anything, yeah, it kinda 'works properly'.

It appears the fan bug is gone for me. The auto setting stays on as I move from profile to profile. With this fixed I feel I can at least play around with it.

wow, just read your post. was having problems checking boxes for the osd, move it to the main display and presto I now can make changes

Playing CS:GO, I can't crouch and switch weapons.  The buttons for that is CTRL + 1, or +2, etc.

It seems that PrecisionX 15 (including 15.0.1) is "hijacking" the CTRL + number combinations at a system-wide level.  They don't work to switch tabs in a browser, either, and I would assume any other time that combination is used is also being affected.  I would speculate this is a default keybinding that isn't being shown or used, thus making it impossible to re- or un-bind it.
 
PS An option to not enable the OSD by default would be appreciated.
 
PPS Fan speed defaulting to having "Auto" enabled would also assist with the mentioned issues regarding temperature.  It appears that it defaults to manual control, quite likely set to 0% speed.

Monitoring is horrible designed. I can no longer group my monitoring objects and make them clean and small. They take up a massive section of my monitor. It now tries to monitor ever application running. So VLC, Skype, even Chrome has an OSD showing up. It crashes Hammer, Reason 6, and Solidworks on this machine and my workstation. Replecated results with both machines. EVGA, I'd recommend a pullback and restart of 5.0. it's got to many issues.

titanfall still will not work with the latest precision x, also on uninstall noticed a conflict with my logitech software.
it changes my mouse settings.
why does precision x have to shut down my lcore on uninstall.
hope they get this fixed soon.

One thing i don't really understand, so maybe i'm a bit stupid or the stuff is to heavy to understand for me: even a small company like TGT made a own tool (ok, it's much simpler as other tools, but it's a different and own tool), that was not a copy of other existing tools (see picture) and nobody should tell me, that TGT was such a biiiig company with so much money, but still they made a own thing. And a company with more resources, like f.e. Asus, made also a own tool with a lot of features without only copying the look of other tools. So, my question: why did Evga only make a copy and not a own thing? If Evga wants to be proud on what they made, than they should make really a own thing with a special look, that not come over like a cheap copy. I can imagine, that making such a tool is a lot of work, but if a company want to be proud of the stuff they made, they should make a really own thing.
I love Evga since i start using their cards and for my part, till that story i had all time a positive impression of that company, but stuff like that has a bitter aftertaste and i hope, that Evga will turn around and bring the boat on the right way.
 

Well I got excited when I saw the OP, then after reading this thread with the issues, and especially due to not having support for my Logitech G19 LCD display, this one will be a no go for me so I will stay away from it.
 
However also, whenever I install new Nvidia drivers, I like to uninstall and reinstall Precision X - but I don't see the previous version available under the download section anymore? Dang  should have saved the download I had previously...
I will wait a bit and see what happens, but seriously starting to consider checking out Afterburner.

I have a same problem with the CTRL + 1..., etc in Starcraft 2 and Precision X make some artifact in Visual Studio too, but the older version works fine. I'm waiting :)

I load an old game aliens vs predator and the new precision make out a black screen. The osd appeared in overlay when i start 3dmark and Valley.

The auto setting stays on for me. However the fan profile isn't applied. It uses the default fan profile unless I change GPU monitoring or access the fan curve setting. Then the fan operation isn't consistent with both GPUs  whether the settings are linked or not. It's borked bad.

I spoke too soon. You are right! I can't believe they released the software in this state. People WILL kill their cards with this fan bug if they don't take care of this.
