MaelstromOC
Just three options with 29% interest factored in. :(

Outch, that APR. Kill it with fire.

Just coming in to report the same issue as MaelstromOC. Pre-qualified for more than enough, but only get ~30% APR options.

Did you email them yet?

Not yet. Partial laziness, partial curious to see how it plays out on its own for the time being.

That needs to be changed, Because even in Affirm's website, it states different.

"1.3. Your Eligibility.

Ok, sorry for the double post here, just want to bring attention to it. I finally heard back from Affirm with a copy/paste email they sent me, but it gave me a contact number so I called them and, if I understand the guy right, they do not have a 0% finance option for EVGA?

I'm a bit confused at this point.

Why has every EVGA Affirm offer been an absolute train wreck of wrong and misleading information?  I don't necessarily blame EVGA.  I think it is likely that Affirm is baiting and switching on EVGA over and over again.

Yeah I don't know. I was ready to grab a 2080TI since that'd make it incredibly easy for me to pay for, but not at 29% APR lol. I'm not crazy.

Quite possibly because EVGA isn't know to pull off these kind of tactics.  I'm surprised they're still doing business (in contract?) with them unless they are locked with them for a certain duration of time.  It's becoming a circus and bad PR for EVGA imo.  This kinda stuff will turn off new customers.

Yup, Now the 0% Offer is showing up for the 3 month and the 6 month option, but it's a 30% offer on my end for the 12 month option.

If you need to take out a loan to buy computer hardware, you need to find a new hobby. Affirm is a loan shark company, %29 interest.....  I'm good.

No reason not to take out a loan for hobbies and a computer can be more then a hobby. The important thing is to take out only money you can easily pay back and know the terms of the loan. The biggest mistake people make is taking a loan out that can leave them stretched thin and then they have something unexpected happen like something breaking down in home or car or an unexpected medical expense.

To sum it up having good credit is very good for you but having bad credit isn’t. So take out loans but make sure the result is good credit.

Use an Associates Code & SAVE 5% - 10% on your purchase. Just click on the associates banner to save, or enter the associates code at checkout on your next purchase. If you choose to use my code I want to personally say "Thank You" for using it.

0% for 12 months? If the 2080Ti I want comes back in stock, I'm on it.

Affirm does charge a high APR tho...that shouldn't be allowed....

I can't think of any reason to take out a loan that could end up costing you 29% APR, if something happens where you can't pay it off in time.

This is not a credit card, This is not a deferred interest deal.

This is a fixed payment with a specific term, if you can't pay it, you're screwed either way. You won't be charged interest, but you will more than likely face a collections issue.

I called them and they can't seem to be able to tell me why that is. Sucks because I'm an affirm customer I bought and paid off items, never was late. I would buy the 2080ti right now but doesn't look like it with a 29% APR.

This is so bad. So because I tried to use this promotion when it started, I'm now stuck with the old offers until this Friday (when they expire.) This honestly makes me just not even want to do it simply because Affirm is apparently awful.

Can't wait for the cards to probably stay sold out now.

Re: EVGA Now Offering 0% Financing For 12 Months on EVGA.com with Affirm 2019/07/22 13:51:21 (permalink) ☄ Helpfulby EVGATech_AdamB 2019/07/22 14:51:08
Hi everyone.  First, we are seeing that people are successfully making and submitting orders via the 0% for 12 months with Affirm option, so the process does work.

Second, many of you have already been told that not everyone will qualify for the Affirm option of 0% financing for 12 months.  That is accurate, but I still want to check a few things to make sure we're not experiencing other issues.

Third, we've also contacted Affirm, who confirmed that the financing program is currently running.

For those of you in the US having issues, try going here:  https://www.evga.com/products/product.aspx?pn=08G-P4-2171-KR

Click the "prequalify" button, which will bring up this window:

If you see something other than "based on a purchase price of $469.99 at 0% APR for 12 months", then please let us know and also contact help@affirm.com.
