EVGA NOT HONORING 10 YEAR WARRANTY

So i bought an EVGA GTX 470 in late October 2010. Registered the card within the 30 days to have the 10 year warranty coverage in Europe. I have been talking to EVGA and they even sent me an RMA number.
 
"We are sorry to hear about the issue with your card and we can of course assist with a RMA:
A support Ticket has been opened for your RMA (3938276), you can now request your RMA directly on our site: http://eu.evga.com/support/rma.asp"
 
I tried to open an new RMA with the RMA number provided, but i always got this error:
 
"THERE HAS BEEN AN ERROR WHILE REQUESTING YOUR PAGE, AND OUR TEAM HAS BEEN NOTIFIED.
The request from 176.79.164.43 at 2020-10-28 10:41:40 GMT for the URL /support/submitrma.asp cannot be served due to error 157 on the host eu.evga."
 
Tried to submit the RMA several times with no sucess.
 
Today i received this email!
 
"Hello Ricardo,
I regret that i have been wasting us time and maybe confusing us !!
After carefully reviewing your case, its was determined that you have purchased on 02.11.2010 3 Year Standard Limited Warranty Product.
Therefore, you are currently out of warranty and the system obstructs us from creating a RMA.
Please accept my sincere apologies.

Best regards,
EVGA EU Customer Support"
 
Coincidentaly, the card is now out of warranty since 30/10/2020, but i have proof of conversation with tech support since 15/10/2020, were i told EVGA i wanted an RMA since the card was defective.
I leave the pictures of the proof of purchase and 10 year warranty. I hope you guys solve this problem.

    it likely has to do with being able to determine purchase date, if they don't have an invoice or something on file proving when you bought the card, the "purchase date" is when it shipped out from EVGA, and doesn't factor in the months it spent in a wearhouse somewhere before you bought it.
     
    I'm not sure if it's possible to find the invoice or something that can prove the date the purchase, but if you can, than you can prove it was within 30 days of purchase that it was registered, and that the 10 year is/was intact.
     
    I can't say for sure if they'll honor a warranty that was intact when it was rejected, but isn't anymore, but it's your best shot you prove the date of purchase, assuming you can find a purchase invoice of some sort.
     
    edit: I'm assuming the 2.11.2010 from the e-mail is in US format of month/day/year and the 15/10/2020 date you provided is EU format of date/month/year

    Naw, that 2-11-2010 is EU format, he registered his account on 11-11-2010. Agree with you on the store receipt issue though cause the old warranty rules were much stiffer and a verified store receipt pretty much held the whole warranty together. @OP: Good luck, i hope you can find that store receipt and resurrect this rma, check your old credit card records/bank records/emails etc...

    Products purchased ON or AFTER November 1, 2006 MUST be registered within 30 days of the ORIGINAL DATE OF PURCHASE to receive EVGA's Free Extended Warranty. All products not registered within 30 days will ONLY receive a 2 year limited warranty. Refer to the following suffix guide to identify the length of your warranty:

     
     
     
    If the original warranty terms apply, and given the date you gave for buying the card and that it ends in ER, they should, you'd have either a 2 year warranty or a 10 year, unless it's overrode by:

    These warranty terms are valid for purchases ON or AFTER July 1st, 2011
     
    Long term warranties are available on applicable parts if registered by the original owner within 30 days of purchase. A valid invoice is required from an authorized reseller to verify any long term warranty. If parts with long-term warranty availability are not registered within 30 days of purchase, if they were given away or sold, then they will follow the standard 3 year limited warranty terms.

     
    So you'd need the invoice from an Authorized reseller, and have to be the original owner, in addition to registering in the first 30 days. If any one of those three aren't fulfilled correctly, you'd get the 3 year warranty instead assuming the July 1st 2011 terms are being used.
     
    It's possible that it's so old, the computer system doesn't even accept terms from the 2006 warranties and would reject it, by using the 2011 terms and give a 3 year warranty.
     
    that's my thoughts on the most likely reason if the invoice is valid anyway.

    I have the proof of purchase and registration date. EVGA even gave me a support ticket number to submit the RMA, but there was always a error on multiple browsers.

    Naw, i dont think thats the case....yet. The EU service/teams arent as good as the USHQ teams/service and sometimes you have to go thru the HQ and have them address the issues and then refer it back to the other guys. EVGA is historically, overall, pretty good about taking care of there customers and warranty stuff, def much better than many companies. Its 5am California time right now so give it like 6-8 hours from now for them to get there mail/messages etc...and they will look into it. From what youve shown, if it all checks out, youll be fine. Hold on to your hat and give em a chance.

    thanks for the heads up - the problem was, you are slightly over the 10 years warranty, nevertheless your RMA was created and approved already, you should have received an automated email within all RMA information´s, additional you would find the RMA details through your profile - if you have any further issues / questions, please let us know through email supporteu@evga.com

    I saw that you guys solved the miss understood. Thank you for solving the situation. I did receive the emails with the RMA instructiuons with RMA number, packaging method and shipping adress in pdf.
    I will try to send the card this week and in worst case, next week. Should i send the card in the original EVGA GTX470 box or another random box? Thank you very much!

     That was not my problem. That was EVGA.EU problem. I did received the RMA ticket to submit the RMA before the warranty expired. I was never able to submit the RMA due to an error. Tried safari, Chrome and Edge with cache cleaned, and always got the error.
    When i clicked submit, this always happened.
