I haven't read through th entire thread, because reading all the posts would be painful. I have been waitingfor this thing ever since seeing the first shots of the referenceboard. I bought a ton of parts for an FT03 Mini right when that case came out, and grabbed an ASRock z77 MiniITX board for it. Then I decided to hold off an wait until the Evga Z77 MiniITX came out. In th mean time I bought a silver FT03 and a Bit Fenix Prodigy just tbe able to make a couple of MiniITX builds-one for bedroom, one for work, andthen I was going to hand paint auto stylee an FT03 and sell it to a buddy. Anyway, long story sort, I am freaking for this little board more so than waiting for all the other thingsI have been waiting for this year: Razer Blade R2, Razer Deathstalker Ultimate, Nexus7, Microsoft Surface, Black Ops II, 512gb SSD for my Macbook Air, iPad 3, iPad Mini, etc. It was easy as cake waiting for those. This freaking little sexy bastard, not so much. Bu at least I see others share my pain!

I know man, I got my lian li spider case ready to roll, buying the EVGA 750 bronze PSU with this. Might get the Superclock cooler as well if it can fit on the case with a shoulder mounted GTX 670!

evga, this is just ridiculous. you've left this board (and us fans) out to dry by not being communicative at all other than telling everyone they'll have to wait even longer for release. you clearly missed the on ramp, and for that i am sure you've lost a ton of business. provide some sort of statement about release for the board, be a bit more communicative, and above all don't be so late to the party like you have been repeatedly. you'll get more business if you get with the program.

I am sure Evga wants this board out in the wild so they can sell it ad make money, but yeah, I a kind of feeling this sentiment. It is getting to the point of this bing ridiculous. The Z77 chipset has ben out there for awhile. The only real choices out there were the Asus & ASRock MiniITX mobos. GB & MSI just released some mid-end Z77 MiniITX boards with some nice features. Time to **** or get off the pot Evga... I have 3 MiniITX cases, and they all wat to be that case that finally freaking gets the Z77 Stinger. Evga is usually on point, but the dropped a big dookie on this one. Period. Nothing ele can be said. Might be time for me to just get over it, and move on.

Even Zotac has a Z77 mini ITX... Not that I would buy it. I have had a bad time with build quality from Asus and others lately, and I have heard bad things about the power on the ASRock. So I am desperately hanging in there waiting for the EVGA board. I definitely plan to OC and use a closed loop WC system.

Savticus. What issues exactly with ASRock. I have historically online gone with Asus, MSI, and Evga boards. I have bought a few Gigabyte boards, but their bright colors always turned me off. Even if Gigabyte boards had good specs, I like to have cool looking boards in my case-I want classy looking or sinister looking boards, not Fisher Pice or Happy Tree friends looking motherboards. Anyway, after hearing ASRock's build quality improved and reading good reviews, I took the plunge. I have the ASRock Z77 MiniITX and also MicroATX boards, and have no complaints. Problem is that right now, I have a black Silverstone FT03 Mini (already built a silver FT03 Mini with the ASRock) and ordered a Bitfenix Prodgy, so I need two MiniITX boards. If Evga gets their act together, one of them will definitely be theZ77 Stinger. Not sure if I should get the Asus P8Z77-I Deluxe, or maybe the new MSI or Gigabyte MiniITX Z77 boards. Or I might just buy two Evga Z77 Stingers if they freaking get off their collective butts and finally release tis thing-talk about showing up late to the party!

i've been really considering the Asus P8Z77-I now, just in spite of evga. to me personally, if evga really cared about their fan base; their most loyal fan base if you ask me - since we're a select few on their own websites forums, they would supply some information when we'd ask for it. even beg for it like some of us have. but no. and im sure they're reading all of this. that's fine by me. Danger Den is building me an itx case that's a slightly custom version of their Tower 12 case before they close their doors for good. so it'll be nice having a rare custom case from a company that wont exist anymore. i had planned on running the stinger for the build, it'd go well especially with the dark smoke/black/clear theme of the case. but i guess i'll have to throw in a blue colored element into the build to match asus' board. fully watercooled too. but oh well.

They held it back due to some re-engineering. I would rather buy a good product than one that had more issues. The fact they are taking the time to get it right before releasing is a plus and will keep me waiting. They already lost me in the X79 market since they did not release a M-ATX X79. There was talk about it and even a time line at one point and then they announced it not happening. Doubt they would do that with this but they obviously caught something worth redesigning it. If you need one now go with a itx that is proven in the market like some of the ASUS boards and then sell it when the stinger comes out if you really want it, but I can tell you now you will get more features from ASUS than you will EVGA.

you do indeed have a point. i would like to have the refined version more so than the first as well. but what irks me the most is the lack of communication. i've dealt with communicating personally with other large companies. others have enjoyed being able to do that, getting an insight into their workings. myself included.

I have heard of no issues with the Z77 M-ITX from ASRock, it was with the Z68 model. It was not an overclocker board, it also did not have the power phases. The Z77 has basically the same amount of power phases as the Asus and the EVGA board coming out dedicated to the CPU. Only the phases dedicated to the CPU rather than the IGPU really matter when you plan to go dedicated GPU anyhow. I probably wont jump on the EVGA wagon for this one as I have done in the past. 3 Months ago, i certainly would have, but I already moved over on the build. Not saying its not worth the wait, but if its anything like the other EVGA Z77 boards, there isnt much to look forward to in the BIOS world. I certainly hope they fixed it all for this board, otherwise there will be alot of very dissapointed people.

Besides being an EVGA motherboard (Which comes with an awesome RMA process), what is the actual difference between (Specs) : EVGA Stinger Asus P8Z77-I Asrock Z77E-ITX Currently using the Asrock Z77E-ITX myself, 3770K @ 5.1 Ghz (Watercooled) and G.Skill TridentX 2666Mhz memory. So just wondering if it would be worth it to make a switch. Is the difference between these motherboards really just the brand and socket placement ? (And the VRM board on the ASUS).

Hey guys, Yes the release was a bit later than expected, for this I do apologize. With that being said we are planning to release the board next week. In fact some review sites already have it in hands :) Check it out: http://www.overclockers.c...howthread.php?t=720903
