It is kind of ridiculous that it is cheaper to buy it from amazon.com/B&H/Newegg.com + shipping fee from US to Denmark + tax to Denmark, than buying it from the European EVGA site...

Order from US sites: 140$ + 52$ = 192$

If you order it from the European EVGA the calculations are:

Order from European EVGA: 180€ = 209$ + 15€ = 17,5$ = 226,5$

The price difference is: 34,5$ and u are literally paying for the same parts and service with VAT/TAX included for the european country.

If the EVGA USB Flash Drive is accidentally formatted and the bundled drivers are erased including lan or wifi drivers needed to get back on the net what happens if I reinstall Windows and can no longer connect to the internet and don't have another computer available to download the drivers?  Would it require an RMA to EVGA to restore the USB flash drive?

Jacob (or anyone with “hands on” knowledge),

The H370 Stinger, like all H370 chipset products says, “Supports 8th Gen...”. My Stinger will arrive soon but I don’t have a CPU yet. Will a i9 9900 series also work? (not that I can actually buy one of those yet)

...any thoughts or specific knowledge?

Thanks!

Hi guys! Can someone help me with the installation of WIFI card? In which following order should the bracket be installed? Like where does the thermal or rubber go? :S There is nothing about it in the guide or manual

Check pages 26 and 27:  https://www.evga.com/support/manuals/files/111-CS-E371.pdf

The thermal pad is used for the longer M.2 Key-M slot, not the Key-E device.

oh sorry. I didn't mean the thermalpad. Mine came with a small one-sided adhesive ring in the WIFI-bracket bag. I don't know where it should sit? Between the WiFi card and the bracket (front or back side of WiFi card?) or between the bracket and motherboard (front side or back side)? I have attached a photo for reference. It's the black thingy: https://photos.app.goo.gl/iDe1to6f86YAQhsM7

Ah, that one.  I would place it on the back of the motherboard, between the PCB and nut.

Any idea as to why it is needed?
I saw it this past weekend while helping a friend with his X299 Dark - it's placement is not mentioned in the instructions. Would be nice if the PDF's would be updated or a note / slip would be added to the parts kit when such pieces are added after the fact. Someone seemed to think it was needed

Re: EVGA H370 Stinger Coming Soon 2019/03/08 04:42:47 (permalink)
So for now I am loving the switch from Asus mobo to EVGA and this H370 Stinger mobo layout and design is awesome! (purchased in August 2018) I feel more safe since I've heard the warranty and RMA is great with EVGA, which it wasn't with Asus. That is the reason I did the switch.  I haven't had to use the RMA or warranty yet, which is great!

However there is one important thing I am missing a lot going from Asus to EVGA. And it is a software with fan control. I've tried to search for EVGA fan control, but it seems like there is DG tuner and it only supports if you buy EVGA chassis. I am currently using a Ncase M1 which I do not plan to switch from, since I love the design so much..

My question is: Will there be any fanspeed software / manual fan control software for the motherboard developed in the future?

I've tried Speedfan and it doesn't work.

Thank you, Cool GTX!
I will let them know. hopefully they will take their time and money to develope fan speed controller which is requested alot through the community. When I look through the EVGA forums and other places, I see a lot of people asking for it, even years ago! So I doubt they will, but I still cross my fingers and hope!

Does Intel 9th generation R0 stepping processors work with the current BIOS?

If not, please issue a new BIOS.

Does anyone know which EK CPU block is compatible with the H370 Stinger? I checked their compatibility list, and the MB isn't listed.

Thanks
