That is a great +core with no change to voltage.  have you tried higher mem offsets?  like +1000?

Just got my Kingpin hooked up and wanted to post back with some of my scores and see what you all thought. 
BIOS: LN2
Mem: +200
Core: +135
Port Royal Score: 14,925
Sliders set to max.
 
What do you all think? Is that a good score for this board? 
I haven't touched the dip switches on the back of the card and have not messed with the classified tool. 
 
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. 
 

In my experience, most Kingpin cards will do a minimum of +1200 mem OC for Port Royal.  That will greatly increase your scores.

I noticed my Kingpin maxes at around 117% power on the LN2 bios in Quake 2 RTX (506w). Anyone else hitting that limit? My card was made in December 2020

Don't know why you would want 500+w for Quake 2, anyway, I found that MSFS is defeating my undervolt I was using since my motherboard change. It was pulling about 378w and last night it was more like 416w. Had to rework that one. Iracing remained the same, so different programs work the card in different ways.

Yes that is spectacular score. I maxed out with mine with switches on and +145 +1400mem at 14839.

Some games can't hit the full 520w power draw because your configuration doesn't require it... I don't have quake 2 RTX so I can't try myself.
 
Try to increase your resolution, increase super sampling %, no frame cap/vsync

redteamgo was that you how just added the backplate cooling, do you have any more of your experience and pics

I recently returned home after traveling for a couple months, fired up my primary gaming rig and realized my KP HC OLED is stuck displaying 24w. I  updated the firmware via px1, reinstalled windows, DDU'd nvidia drivers and tried swapping to a variety of vbios, etc. The screen is now blank and I thought an RMA would be imminent. 
 
Despite my frustration, I noticed some improved performance in a couple games, and decided to do some PR runs for the first time since July. I'm utterly shocked by the results... 16,102 using the 1000w re-bar enabled bios (23c ambient w/ no exotic cooling beyond my loop). I could hardly break 15,700  on the same bios this past summer.

While I would prefer to have a functioning OLED, suppose I can learn to live w/o it.

Its also the most demanding game I can find.

 
Its pretty good stability test. Control is also excellent. Many times I've thought everything was rock stable until 20 min into Control. But unline Quake 2 RTX its not free.

Its interesting to me that people say the kingpin is binned to 2100, I'm not sure that is true. Mine really struggles in certain games above stock. DCS in particular, but that game is notorious for not working with overclocks. Metro Exodus ray traced edition as well.

I didn't know about the 2100 figure. Having had 2 of these now to play with - both were definitely cruising past 2100 no problem.

Hey, kraade, yes I did just do the mp5works backplate. what would you like to see?

I was wondering how it mount to the backplate, and did you used the all-in one optimus pad on the backside?

My card should be back to EVGA on Wednesday, they covered the call tag.

They said to send the card in because they might have to fix it and send it back due to limited supply.  They said if I paid for cross ship they couldn't promise me they had a new card in hand to ship out immediately.  Considering I had the card for about a day and a half before it failed, I think they should send me a new one.   But whatever.
