When is the 11900k supposed to come out? I am buying all my parts once (if) I get my hands on a 3090 kingpin or 3090 FTW3 ultra hybrid. Either one would do honestly. Then I’ll just get the latest and best cpu, motherboard, etc. Trying to have a monster CS-go gaming/streaming PC.

Rocket Lake expected some time during Q1 2021, I'd guess later in the quarter rather than earlier.

Ya i love it. Only card ill be upgrading it for is the Kingpin and i was able to get on the notify list. Ill be flipping it for MSRP whenever i get my notify.

System specs are Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master
Due too supply issues a ryzen 5600x
G.SKILL Trident Z Neo Series 32GB (4 x 8GB) at 3600mhz.
The scores in the video are just using px1 to overclock the card. So it's not surprising that others with a 3090 would be getting a similar score. I have not used any of the Kingpin features other then the voltage slider in px1 in the video. I am currently working on using the dip switches on the back of the card that allow voltage modification and the scores are higher but I'm not done testing. Yes the evga classified tool will allow even more to be unlocked and it is what they were using one stream to allow the 15500 Port Royal score. Will try to update soon with just the dip switch results.
EXCELLENT video, JC! Thanks for taking the time to put this together. Consider me your 100th subscriber. I took notes and will use your video as a good starting point when my KPE arrives. You’re the first and only person who has been able to confirm the power limits for each BIOS. (450W for Normal, 480W for OC and 520W for LN2). I look forward to more videos as you continue testing this beast!

It will be compatible with the Z490 board, but you won't be able to utilize PCIe 4.0 on almost any existing Z490 boards - it requires hardware upgrades not just bios updates.

Thank you so much! Looking forward to your next video. Would you please include a baseline/stock PR score/run? As you know it is best practice to get a baseline score before starting OC. It will also give us a great idea of how better the hybrid model is for just gaming and nog XOC.

Jay made a remark in his livestream yesterday he was pulling about 640W under one of his LN2 runs. You won't(or shouldn't) see anything that high on air/CLC. 1200W PSU should work out well
This is incorrect. With voltage increase, you should definitely expect to hit 700-800W depending on the workload. LN2 increases your efficiency. Meaning you'll be using less power than you'd need at ambient.

Some are. I just ordered the Amazon Cyber Monday Bundle with the Z490 ACE and the 10700kf. That board is PCIe 4.0 compatible but will only run at 3.0 with the 10th gens. Once the 11th gen comes out, it's capable of 4.0 speeds. I was going to hold off on upgrading my 9700k until 11th gen but for the price, I can likely not be out much when i sell the 10700kf and pick up the 11th gen since I can keep the board.

Wow, didn't know that some Z490 mobos supported 4.0. I just checked the Aorus Master which I purchased a few days ago and it has the same 4.0 compatibility. That's cool, and good to know.
