Hurm, i had linked in on the word here in my previous post.

*edit* nope links are getting stripped out. If you look for a post from Enewt and it is in his sig block.

You won't get the clock fluctuating like you do on air and these are easier to use for l2n. 2100 is pretty good, my 3090 won't go anywhere near that.

Any word yet on whether Hydro Copper will be a real thing at some point?

FOMO led me to queue for a hybrid when I really want to just hook up a thinner card to my existing loop.

I don't know about the HC, but I have it on pretty good authority that at least one quality manufacture will have their hands on a KPE card to start working on a water block and have it available in January.

I’ll be sending my card to Optimus to work on a block if no one beats me to it

Is it just for me or for other looks that kingpin card is not so  superior like  it was with last generations?   it looks core overclcok maxing out at 2115-2130mhz, thats low as for cherry picked card. i Had 2X3090FE, 1x3090 Strix OC, 1x zotac trinity 3090, all of them can do 2130mhz and more, and all cards can reach 15000 in portroyal. So kingpin has just good AIO and Samsung memory(which overclocks better).

I too think this gen KPE is rushed and corners cut. These chips are definitely not binned or if thry are, probably just as good as ftw3. Where did you see it has Samsung memory? My understanding is that gddr6x is only produced by Micron at this point.

Also curious how you achieved 15000 on FE which is a 400watt card

sorry I meant Micron, not sure why I typed Hynix. Point was all 30x cards use same memory and KPE is no different

Does that manufacturer rhyme with Troptimus?  I'm hoping they design the backplate well to accommodate the OLED.  It's a nice feature this time with the OLED being it's own thing.  Think it really drove up the cost on the 2080TI KPE HC block.

Received my Kingpin 3090 earlier today and installed it! I did not have any issue installing the card and booted in fine. I updated to the newest NVIDIA driver after I installed the card.

I was previously having an issue using the newest version of X1 (crash upon launch) but it seems to have fixed itself after installing this card.... which is weird. I'm happy with the new X1 though. It actually seems to save the RGB and message / animation changes you make despite putting the computer to sleep or shutting it off.

Here are some pics of the card:

I haven't tried overclocking or doing any benchmarks with yet. I'm going to take my sweet time with each test. I spent a few hours testing some games on the stock bios to make sure everything was stable. I was previously using a KP 2080ti and immediately noticed the performance boost after installing KP 3090 card. I can run games like WD Legion and AC: Valhalla at 60fps maxed out in 4k resolution with DLSS on quality. I noticed a 30fps boost right off the bat in these games. I'm really loving the card so far.

With my normal setup this card idles at 28c with an ambient of 21c / 70f and doesn't go past 56c during gaming.

Cheers to everyone enjoying their card

The graphics card is very powerful

So I got mine today, re-plumbed the water cooling system and got it up and running. It’s acting very weird when it boots as the monitors work then all of a sudden shut off. I finally got it to get to windows before the monitors shutoff and after a minute they came back on. I’m not sure the issue but I’ll call tech support and get it fixed. It continued this boot after boot Also. Once I finally got it up and monitors working I Ran Port Royal and on the second run I hit 14600! This card is super strong and I can’t wait to run over 16000 once they release the classified tool and the XOC bios Plus the HC card.

They do have the new classified tool as far as I know. There was a download link here in the forum on one of these kingpin threads

Happy Monday folks. Noticed that I'd left this tab open and my curiosity got the best of me, so I just went to back to the page and checked, and saw that the auto notify button was still available and appears to work, though I didn't actually try to submit it because I am already on the list. Anyone with more in depth knowledge on the situation care to posit a guess as to what might be up with these? I know they are $2k cards, which has some bearing I'd think about demand, but then again, if I recall correctly, the first list was about 100 cards, and the link got taken down in under 30 seconds. This round, the site got absolutely pounded initially though eventually stabilized, and the link never went away. I would have to think that of all the apparent demand out there, that the list by this point would be Way more than 100 ppl. So, I'm curious as to peoples thoughts on the situation. Think there might just have actually been less demand than it appeared initially? Or that the supply is bigger? Or maybe they are just keeping an open ended list now, and plan on fulfilling it over the next quarter or 2? Inquiring minds would like to know! lol

There was an indication a number of weeks ago -- I think from a tweet -- that after the first tranche of turning on and then off the auto-notify button, when the buttons were turned back on...they would remain on indefinitely.  Perhaps EVGA got too many questions as to why the buttons were not lit...I am not sure on that point.  But the expectation was among those of us that have been closely following the queues...the buttons would remain lit....

This Probe-IT cable from way back is still compatible with the header on the 3090 KPE, right?

Only if you're on the EU queue. https://eu.evga.com/  through the EU store. That is separate from the US queue.

Has there been any word on when there will be water blocks available for the 3090 Kingpin??? Went ahead and jumped on the hybrid because I wasn't sure when the HC was coming. I'm so glad I got my hands on the card but it sucks that I had to re-do my loop and remove one of my radiators.

I hear you guys,  I don't see the point in buying a KPE if they aren't binning them anymore.  I think I'm gonna pass when my spot comes up.

I’m hitting 2175 max GPU core clock on my KPE on the 520W BIOS just using the sliders in PX1 in a closed case, which I think isn’t bad for a 3090.
