Agreed! Let’s just hope that next week means something earlier than next Friday, because without Saturday delivery available in some areas (like mine) that could be another long weekend sans GPU.

Well .. if they plan on lighting up the auto-notify button on Monday .. then having a shipping date to 12/15 would be pretty much false advertising.  No reason to think it's anything negative towards the current notifies....

Well if the auto-notify button is coming back on Monday, then that means we’re all getting our cards purchased before then. Not sure how that’s possible given that today is Friday.

In any case, that language doesn’t amount to false advertising (not even under California’s insane Unfair Business Practices standards). It might amount to false hopes, however, which isn’t actionable anyways.

I think they put up the 12/15 note originally to try to placate those already on the queue.  They took it down so as to not mislead the new queue that will form when they relight the button. That is my theory anyway.
 
I still believe Monday is the day; Tuesday at the latest.  Let's go!

Per a Jacob tweet, it looks like the next KPE tranche will also be Elite only.  Not 100% confirmed but currently “looks” like it.  No insight into when the button will relight, but I am confident that we will get a tweet announcement or something similar in advance of the day.

Plan accordingly.

Unlikely.  It is looking like all the Hydros are delayed into 2021.

Couple quick questions to those in the know from the first round. If a person is a luddite by choice and has foregone soc media like Twitter, might there be any other means of receiving said communication, other than remembering to keep an eye on the thread here?

Second, if i read correctly a couple posts up, I believe it mentioned that the auto notify was up for something like 29 seconds before it was nuked? Not trying to be salty, but that sort of feels like the current situation trying to buy most anything even somewhat desirable today.

I guess the reasoning would be the same, supply vs. demand, it's just frustrating, as i have a little over half built system that has been sitting for weeks now, just waiting on 2 components, the 'right' GPU, and the 'right' CPU. Well, hopefully I'll get lucky and get on the list for the next round, though honestly, given the choice, I'd prefer the HC version, but at this point beggars can't be choosers and all that. Sorry for the rant.
