Please add the same XOC bios for the 3070 currently at 300W max. EVGA is behind other brands here, asus and palit have 350 and 330W cards. EVGA card can easily cool the extra heat. Lets go EVGA

I've installed the XOC BIOS with the OC switch flipped and can't reach over 390W with a 3080 FTW3 Ultra with the Hybrid kid installed running at 50C. My 8 pin power cables in GPU-Z read 130/150/70 is there a fix for this? Edit: I've also cranked the voltage to 100 in X1 and clock to 170 and the card sits at 1920MHz at load and 95% power. It also gets quite a bit of hitching when it runs out of power.

I see on the XOC BIOS 3090 thread there is an offer from Evga to replace the Cards with the Power Balancing issue with a new Card.
XOC 450w Bios Card can only draw 395w ...appears to be gimped PCI-E #3 power plug. I know there are many others with the same.
I went all thru this Thread and dont see the same offer......can anyone ...a Mod perhaps (Sajin you're always up to sped) or Jacob please let me know if this same offer is in place for the 3080FTW3 Ultras that also have this exact same Power Balancing issue as the 3090's ......

And I even twitted him GPUz, afterburner etc screenshots showing the 3rd pin pulling almost no power and the card hitting the power limiter at 430w and never or barely ever reaching 450w... I hope they listen to you, I gave up, but hey if they say something, let us know.

As a 3090 ftw3 owner who was able to take advantage of the special rma program for power balancing I can say that, to me at least, EVGA seem more concerned with balancing out over-draw from the pcie slot than with balancing the 3 8-pin connectors. With my new four day old rev1.0 pcb 3090 ftw3 the 3rd 8-pin pin is still only pulling around 100 watts versus the first two 8-pin connectors which are pulling around 150 watts each. On my original card the pcie slot was pulling almost 80 watts which is above spec, the new rev1.0 is pulling in the 60’s. With what I’ve read and seen myself it seems to me EVGA has taken power balancing to mean balancing out the pcie slot power draw.

So according to this question,would it better if I didn't spend my time hunting for evga cards?
Since other manufacturers seem to have higher clock rates?
I assume it's still better then my 3060 loll

So this is probably a super dumb question but I just got my 3080 FTW3 Ultra Hybrid and flashed the 450watt Bios with the FTW3 Hybrid bios posted on this threaded. After flashing X1 gives the 118% target limit but I only get 350-360ish watts. GPU-Z shows 8pin 1 and 2 pulling the correct amount of power and 8pin 3 only doing like 45 watts etc. Should I have actually used the FTW3 Ultra bios instead of the FTW3 Hybrid bios? I did some research and found a lot of people having my issue and it seems to be a hardware issue with the voltage regulator do hicky on the quantum converter so pretty sure there is no fix but just want to rule out using the wrong bios. Only reason I question it is because the hybrid bios is not labeled as FTW3 “ultra” hybrid…dumb I know and I probably flashed with the right one but again just want to rule it out lol

I have the 3080 FW3 Hybrid and I never see it go past 100% power after updating the bios? Precision x1 shows the power can go to 118%.
