Hi! My first post. Getting back into gaming and Pc building after taking a few years off. Looking forward to making a few friends here and learning about the new tech. My last build was X99. I have a question about the 360ti FTW 3. Is it rear exhausted or does it blow the hot iair into the case? Looking to replace 2 aging 980ti cards with 1 of these.

All the EVGA 3000 series use ICX coolers, which unfortunately dumps all the hot air into the case. ICX is no bueno for SFF case builds. The last EVGA card with blower style cooler was the 2080Ti (which is a little more powerful than the 3060Ti as it happens). If you're quick, there are 2 of the 2080Ti blower cards on sale for $499 (heavily discounted) in B-stock today only ( link) - and maybe next Wednesday - so you have a few hours left if they don't sell out first. That's the same price or a little cheaper than the 3060Ti I believe. I grabbed one for my Mrs' SFF build. P/N 11G-P4-2280-RX and 11G-P4-2380-RX, which appear to be almost the same. Thank you so much. I will on the lookout for a good 2080Ti, maybe B stock. Not wanting to put a lot of cash into this old X99 build.

 get the B-stock while you can - 1 year warranty and usually around $1,000 for that same model on B-stock, except today and last Wednesday it's $499. EBay 2080Ti cards (used) usually sell for more than that! I'm debating getting a 2nd one as a backup card.

Just an update on this. I decided to purchase a blower style 3070ti. Got it for 599 at Bestbuy. Will pick it up in store next week. Cant wait to see how bad it stomps my 980ti sli.

I did want to purchase from EVGA but they just didnt have the options I wanted .Small case here with a 9650x and 64 gigs of very warm ram so a blower is my best option

Congratulations on choice of New GPU. I myself have EVGA 3070 Ti FTW3 but is ICX but I do have big thermaltake Snow 71 case which is big and stay cool. Welcome back to PC building have fun and rock on.

Make sure you have good airflow in your case, that model still exhausts into the case I believe, at least partially.

Make sure you have good airflow in your case, that model still exhausts into the case I believe, at least partially.
I do thank goodness. I guess this is a new design. One fan sucks cool air in from the back on one side and the other pushes it back out the other back half. Should be interesting. Will post more when I pick up the card. A quote from Tech powerup "As mentioned earlier, the GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Founders Edition is a brand-new design from NVIDIA that is neither the RTX 3070 FE nor the RTX 3080 FE, but a cross between the two. The dual-axial flow-through design is carried over, but with the S-shaped aluminium accent dissecting two halves of the cooler. The fan on the obverse side pulls in fresh air, which is guided through one half of the cooler, while the second fan, located at the backplate, pulls air through the heatsink and out the back. According to NVIDIA, this ensures uniform heat dissipation along both ends of the cooler. With its rich aluminium surfaces and diamond-cut edges, the card looks like a piece of jewellery."
